@craigaloewen @shanselman Why you no tell me??? I was just about to give up/give in and install Windows 11 when I see systemd is now available for Win10! Now I have to read up on setting IP addys of distros and the big one - detecting the printer's STM32F103 board over USB.

Another question - can I enable systemd in WSL 2? I could use the virtualized Ethernet setup...

Fantastic panel given by @shanselman @AllThingsOpen for Linux users on how to develop Linux applications in Windows WSL. Good news: systemd is now available in WSL (wooo!). Bad news: systemd only for WSL on Win11 (booo!) So close, so darn close.

(1/4) It's time to put it out there: if Russia so much as puts one soldier into Ukraine, the US should call an emergency meeting of NATO for the purpose of adding Ukraine to NATO. It puts all of Europe on high alert and puts the burden of world war directly on Putin.

(3/4) On the downside if Russia backs down, the expectation is that we withdraw NATO and EU membership for Ukraine. It makes them the "Taiwan of Europe," with no formal relationship to either side. There will be trade agreements but no protections as other EU countries enjoy.

(4/4) Let's be perfectly blunt here. Putin has no interest in security claims; its just a lie. Real reason for invasion is to exploit Ukraine's material goods for his own wealth. He and his crew have not suffered for taking Crimean Peninsula, nearly 8 years ago to the day.
