I didn’t leave crypto because I stopped believing in its original premise. Instead, I realized the need for institutional security was higher than the need for crypto’s original premise. So I extrapolated that the institutions would win & the original premise would die.

I feel like we are all unknowing and unwilling participants in a massive and unmonitored experiment in how algorithms affect our individual and collective mindsets. And increasingly the algorithms aren’t being created by humans. Scary.
