Felt the need to drop my subscription to @SideScrollers . I do no support their use of AI while offering half hearted pushback and pretending they are interested in a debate. I would be a hypocrite if I continued to give them money and will divert funds elsewhere.

Cool.. so we take away intellectual property law. Then you steal someone's idea, and with no recourse in the court, they just come and kill your ass dead. Don't complain, you don't want laws.

It is really weird how hard the X algorithm is pushing the current Harry Potter fan fiction thing. I have muted all mentions of it, unfollowed people, stopped engaging with posts and hitting "not interested" when they somehow do show up.

Matt is right on this. And I'm gonna take this opportunity to say something to the ai bros. The ai pics you guys have been generating lately are horrible. Simply horrible. I don't know if it's degrading at increasing speeds, or if everyone just collectively stopped giving a damn because it's no longer about the art but it's about owning someone else. You're all creating and eating shit that's now becoming worse than the half assed artists I've constantly been insulting for their lack of quality, and you're trying to tell me its the future. Stop it.

The only thing that gives music any value at all, just like any other art form, is that it is an expression of the human soul. AI generated music is worthless and will always be worthless and no amount of technological advancement can ever change that. I’m sure an AI can generate something that sounds like a symphony. But it can never create anything with a fraction of the value or meaning of Beethoven’s 9th. If you can’t see that, then you are intellectually and spiritually deformed. I don’t know how else to put it.
