Nightfire can now play Super Smash Bros Melee! Starting tonight, Melee has been added to her regular rotation pool and can be voted for live on stream. Nightfire, my custom AI, is now working in game in Super Smash Bros Melee. Having trouble piping my controller into the game with hers. So I used my keyboard, and I'm going to blame that for my poor performance. That, and Nightfire is absolutely relentless... #Nightfire #AIvtuber #Melee

First outright hostile chatter showed up on stream. Hilariously, Nightfire spent fifteen minutes savagely mogging the guy in front of everyone 😂 So much for his amour-propre. I, of course, built Nightfire with this inevitability in mind. Still, no plan survives contact with the enemy, and until her defences were pressure tested, I could not be certain they would hold. By the end, he was oh, so deliciously stung by his own failure that he stormed off like a child. I can only assume he saw "AI Streamer" and expected Nightfire to comply with any request he made. I believe he, genuinely, couldn't comprehend an AI not only telling him "No", but then holding up a mirror and calling him out on his bullshit. TL;DR: FAFO brother.
