Happy 115th birthday to our founder Moses Asch! Fun fact: Asch never deleted a single title from the Folkways catalogue. As he said, "Just because the letter J is less popular than the letter S, you don't take it out of the dictionary."

Is it over? I felt like the Wizard of Oz pulling levers there...trying to deal with both @delgados and this account. Thanks to everyone who listened and @Tim_Burgess @LlSTENlNG_PARTY for asking us to take part #TimsTwitterListeningParty
Perfect bookend, from the chaos of The Past That Suits You Best to end with this beautiful plaintiff calmness. #TimsTwitterListeningParty
Thanks pal.
This is such a gorgeous song from Mr Woodward @LordCutGlass. The tempo of everything had slowed considerably by this point compared to our debut in 1995 and this was a great example of the weight that the slower song could carry I think...
I read about a couple who killed their son, the article was very scientific regarding the forensic applications and emphasis on good practice gaining convictions. The song is the other side, just the horrific emptiness. #TimsTwitterListeningParty
Lyrically things were often a bit dark #TimsTwitterListeningParty
We just ran out of cycling terms we liked.
Replying to @LordCutGlass
@LordCutGlass - the great eastern was the first @delgados_the album not named after cycling. Did the rest of the band put their feet down ?😂😂#TimsTwitterListeningParty
sometimes solo guitar lines and harmonies!
Being in The Delgados was hard work. They made me sing and play solo guitar lines at the same time. Aye Today a good example. #TimsTwitterListeningParty
Camille is such an intuitive musician, the flute on this is so great. #TimsTwitterListeningParty
Lovely guitar part from @emmaspollock here. #TimsTwitterListeningParty
My only regret is I didn’t let @chemikaljanitor have his wish and start this with an accordion like they do on Take The Floor at the start of Aye Today. #TimsTwitterListeningParty
My son was in hospital for ages as a baby and it was hard for the staff to find a vein as they were so overused and fragile, one morning the nurse said ‘oh come on baby give me a vein!’, nice line from a nice nurse. #TimsTwitterListeningParty
Wait for it…..CAMILLE MASON!!!!! #TimsTwitterListeningParty
It’s a little thing but I love the sound of the toms on this. ##TimsTwitterListeningParty
