Without an effective system to test, trace and isolate, it doesn't matter how many lockdowns we have - we will keep returning to where we were before. We have an incompetent, corrupted system. We are stuck in the cycle.

Dear @BorisJohnson, the self-employed freelance community contributed £271bn to the UK economy in 2017 - enough to fund the NHS twice over (via @teamIPSE). And that stat has grown since. Don't forget about us (4.8 million self-employed in the UK). Please RT.

I hope anyone who thinks it's "bloody foreigners" putting strain on the NHS is watching #Hospital on BBC2 now. Obviously it's lack of investment in social care for the elderly that's causing the crisis. It's the "bloody foreigners" in medical uniforms keeping the #NHS going.
