This is a great choice by @ByronDonalds! I've know @BryanAvilaFL since he was a candidate to succeed me in the Florida House and I look forward to him being a successor as LG. This team will do a great job for Florida!

4. We don't do men in girls' sports.
5. We don't do soft-on-crime state attorney.
6. We don't do CRT in classrooms.
7. We don't do squatters' rights.

9. We don't apologize for any of it.
10. And we're not going to start now.
WATCH THIS! This is Cuba today. Appreciate @nickshirleyy and his team for risking their safety to make this.
🚨Inside Communist-Controlled Cuba:
As Cuba faces its largest humanitarian crisis in years amid growing tensions with the US, I went to see what 60+ years of communism has done to a country.
Within 24 hours I was planning my escape out of the country after being followed by their intelligence agents, and a 2 star general waited to interrogate me outside my hotel room at 4 AM. Right now Cuba has no oil or gas, 7/10 people are going hungry, there is no medicine and some haven't even had eggs in a year.
In communism there is no freedom of speech or press, and I was almost taken hostage for asking about communism. This is a look into Cuba like never before, no one truly knows how bad it is until now.

Eleven years ago Sen. Rubio warned USA & wanted to make sure it was written in history.
It’s a good dang thing he’s in the place he is today & we don’t have some knucklehead trying to run the show.
Operation Epic Fury couldn’t have had a better Sec. State!

Palantir just chose Miami.
Cue the predictable take:
“Florida doesn’t have the engineering talent.”
Cool. Let’s run the numbers.
Florida produces 89% as many engineers per capita as California.
Eighty. Nine. Percent.
That’s with:
• Zero Stanford
• Zero Caltech
• No 10-campus UC empire
What Florida does have:
• 7 R1 research universities
• $3.3B in annual research spend
• The largest aerospace engineering program in the country
• SpaceX. Blue Origin. Lockheed. L3Harris. Northrop. All building here.
Now the part nobody on Tech X wants to discuss:
Florida tuition: ~$6,500/year
California tuition: $14,000+
Florida income tax: 0%
California income tax: up to 13.3%
So let’s compare:
Cost to produce an engineer → Florida wins.
Cost to retain an engineer → Florida wins.
Engineer purchasing power → Florida wins.
That’s arithmetic.
The ROI per engineering degree in Florida might be the highest in America.
The people mocking Florida are arguing with a 2015 version of the state.
The 2026 version is building rockets, defense systems, AI companies and so much more.
You can keep the narrative.
We’ll keep the compounding.
