This internship involves assisting with planning and delivering outreach programs, leading excursions aboard the StewardShip, engaging visitors to The Nest, creating educational content, working on community science efforts, and more.
This is a paid, full-time internship and requires on-site work based out of Crosslake, MN. Starts dates are flexible and may begin as early as May 15, 2023. Funding for this internship provided through Sourcewell. Please direct any questions to [email protected]

Fatal fishing line entanglements are preventable. Through loon-friendly fishing, we can keep another loon from facing this incredibly sad fate.

Satellite telemetry studies by @Adkloon found that loons that breed in the Adirondacks migrated to the Atlantic Coast as far south as North Carolina and Florida.
