Peer review was disastrous for society. It was established since WW2 and our rate of technological progress and has plummeted since and academia became dogmatic. It’s literally just selecting for groupthink

It's Doraemon dude. It's a show about a retarded blue cat from the future made for preschool children.
People in the west literally are incapable of understanding the recurring, central conflict in Doraemon: a kid not doing well in school is something to feel ashamed about. Because they fundamentally do not value academic success in children, more than half of Doraemon's plot make 0 cultural sense, making it entirely incomprehensible to them.

There's much you can say about how cashback rewards are a product of exploiting financially irresponsible cardholders and gouging interbank fees. However, fixing these requires systemic change. As an individual, there's no reason to not take advantage of them while they exist.
do americans geniuenly believe cashback is money with no strings attached and american banks are just giving out money from the kindness of their hearts? lol

If the Hades character designs were actually appealing to straight men, we'd see way more lewd fanart. The fact that we don't is a pretty good revealed preference indicator that straight dudes just aren't into these tumblr creatures.

Not every character needs to be sexy to straight dudes of course, but trying to gaslight the very people you're trying to sell this stuff to is why people are so reflexively negative about your product.

These are actually two different issues (short-term vs long-term visas) and the fact that you're conflating them is a symptom of deeply unserious reddit politics. Which makes sense considering that you're an EU poster
one of the wildest thing about the uma live is seeing MAGA people posting stuff akin to "they let so many stinking minorites in that scam us, but they make if difficult for things I want to see" YOU MFERS ARE THE REASON THIS IS EVEN AN ISSUE, YOU VOTED FOR THIS!

Rosa prefers small ones because she thinks they'll be less likely to abandon her.

tbh average video game writing is slightly below even trashy fiction like this That's not a knock against games mind you, they have constraints and expectations inherent to the medium. But like... Most writing in games isn't especially sophisticated.
Like I see guys saying "the average book is better than the average video game" as if this isn't what you see opening kindle

Discord told users it doesn’t look at their messages, calls, or other content when sorting accounts by age. Florida is now suing Discord because it doesn’t look at their messages, calls, or other content. The complaint objects that Discord’s filters only scan images and videos and leave text, voice, and calls untouched. It lists voice and video channels as an unfair practice. It wants ID checks before users can be seen or share anything. The state is seeking up to $150,000 per violation and a court order to make it happen. Florida calls this child safety but it's a demand that nobody on Discord gets to have a private conversation again.

IMO the biggest problem with the new Castlevania is that it has very little reason to exist. Castlevania's core storyline is wrapped up with the Sorrow games and the spiritual successors made by Iga are good games that provide what CV offered in the 90s and 00s.

People did shit on SotN for being a shakeup but the difference is that SotN was actually good and didn't pitch itself as this "grand revival of the franchise that you need to shut up and support or else you're a heckin chud"
Do you think there were people shitting on Symphony of the Night back in 1997 and saying Castlevania is dead because it was trying new things and was very different from the rest of the series before?

The new Bloodstained coming out soon and dropping all this gameplay footage just makes it even more obvious how much the new "Castlevania" game is simply skinwalking the franchise

This is already not a problem for me because I buy Duke's
Hellmann's mayo McCormick spices Cholula hot sauce Frank's RedHot What do these products have in common? One company could soon control them all. I have concerns that McCormick and Unilever's $45 billion merger could increase YOUR grocery prices.

Jessup forced two young soldiers to kill a fellow soldier. Instead of standing up like a man and taking responsibility for what he had done, he repeatedly lied and allowed the soldiers to take the fall. He was an immoral coward. So of course some today believe he’s the hero.
The older I get, the more I think Colonel Jessup was actually the hero of “A Few Good Men.”
