Yesterday our Chair wrote to the leader, the president plus the spokesperson for Women and Equalities in the @LibDems asking how they are looking to amend equalities law following the vote at conference. Voters and volunteers deserve to know what the party is planning.

Here it is! 'when the picture spread online, the philosopher kings of X, so swift to blame white liberal women for the collapse of civilisation, kept silent.'

In a free country, you are entitled to believe you are a woman with a penis. But not to take it into a female changing room, nor to cheat your way into a female athletic competition, nor in any way to impose your private delusion on the rest of us.

There were around 500 people in the hall yesterday. In ten hours today, this clip has already passed 100K views. It's the kind of reach many LD MPs can only dream of. It shows that sex does matter to so many voters, and that speaking truth to power still has a powerful resonance.
Yesterday our chair @hollowood_zoe asked @LibDems conference in a trans debate:
"In 2026, are women allowed rights?
Rights to dignity.
Rights to safety.
Rights to say no."
Conference resoundingly voted 'no' thus deciding that women were second class citizens. 🧵
This #OrganDonationWeek a special thanks to my donor's family. Your decision at the worst time of your lives 40 years ago has given me my best life. Thanks also to my @GSTTnhs kidney transplant team for keeping me well - wouldn't be here without you.
I'm 'Arthur' will be ecstatic to know that in his honour I have increased my planned @RNLI donation
This is ‘Arthur,’ who is delighted that the Poole Old Lifeboat Museum has been forced to close due to volunteers being abused because it’s going to deprive the RNLI of vital funds. Please don’t share or donate to the RNLI at rebrand.ly/imvl9mb and ruin his joy. Thank you.

Do you remember this story? As I reported - today is super stats Thursday for NHS and today, quietly, seven national audit reports into maternity, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, hip fracture and other areas have been published without any announcement or publicity.
🚨 EXC: NHS England has suppressed the work of investigators carrying out dozens of national clinical audits. NHSE has stopped investigators alerting media, watered down recommendations and limited the way their reports are written, published and used: thetimes.com/uk/healthcare/a…

This is a brilliant piece by Nick Dryrenfurth, a Jew who is on the left of politics. His argument is that sections of the left have betrayed Jews and ignored history. In today’s Australian.

If I were JK Rowling and had been badly defamed by a national newspaper in relation to made-up Holocaust denial, I might ask for them to make a generous donation to @ForWomenScot, alongside the grovelling apology they’d owe me 💅

Latest! With thanks to @zeno001 'where journalists were previously told “the concept of a gender identity is contested by some”, the final two words have disappeared. The guidance now states simply: “We should be aware that the concept of a gender identity is contested.”'

This is excellent by @ColinBrazierTV
He is neither embittered nor old.
But he is white.
White guilt is pummelled into whites at school/online.
Colin has escaped the white guilt disease and gives a nuanced appraisal of current British culture- superb

It will take time to eradicate gender identity slop from political parties and public bodies but at least - and at last - a start has been made on the process of doing so…

Very much enjoying the IPSO ruling in Molly v Sunday Times.
The press should note that columnists are at liberty to call Euan a "bloke", a "lunatic", and "Mr Molly".
