Microscope workshop was a great success for all those who attended! biohackspace.org/2019/09/mic…
Anyone a researcher or know a researcher with access to an SEM, AFM or TEM? We'd like to organise a trip for some keen science students to see some researchers in action. RT or message if you do. Thanks!

What cheek! Chew your cheek for 30 seconds. Spit it out. Add some Methylene blue. View down the lab's x200 microscope. Beautiful! The dark blue spots in the middle of cells are the nuclei, packed full of DNA! We estimated there were over 100,000 cells 😎

Published in May, an amazing paper showing both the redundancy in natural systems and our technical capability to synthesis large (megabase... ok so also not that large) genomes with high fidelity: nature.com/articles/s41586-0… Thanks @biomakespace for the heads up!
