Watching Beat Luke Littler on Netflix. The picking the ball from the bag to choose the opponent is fixed - especially from bag 1. #BeatLukeLittler
Not sure it’s the spectacle they anticipated ( yet)
Again - give me strength.
I’ve written to @premierleague Chief Executive Richard Masters demanding action on poverty chanting following Everton’s game against Chelsea.
Everton & Liverpool supporters have endured this class prejudice for years. Mocking families who cannot afford to put food on the table is shameful.
Through Fans Supporting Foodbanks, supporters stand together to feed our communities. The Premier League must show the same solidarity & leadership.
Hunger doesn’t wear colours. It’s time our game acted like it.

After yesterday’s post about the Russell Brand trial, my inbox was flooded with people claiming this is all just a coordinated media conspiracy.
Well, I hope those same people actually read what came out of Southwark Crown Court today, because Brand took the witness stand and completely shredded his own defense.
Under cross-examination, he openly admitted to "inconsistencies" in his evidence, awkwardly asking the prosecution for forgiveness.
Even more damning, his own barrister asked him if a single friend or colleague from twenty-five years in showbusiness was willing to stand up in that courtroom and speak for his character.
His answer was no. Not a single person would touch him with a barge pole. Think about what that actually means. Decades surrounded by entourages, agents, and industry friends, and not one human being is willing to take an oath on his behalf.
Then look at how he described women to the jury today.
He admitted saving a complainant’s name in his phone labeled with a degrading slur and a sexual act. When asked if a woman expressed reluctance to an encounter, he casually dismissed her hesitation as "coquettishness and coyness."
This is not a misunderstood free-thinker being silenced for his politics. This is an arrogant narcissist who used celebrity status to treat women like disposable commodities, and is now watching his carefully rehearsed narrative crumble under basic legal scrutiny.
Stop falling for the staged internet guru act. The admissions coming out of his own mouth in that courtroom tell you everything you need to know.

One of the most insane videos I've seen.
American-Jewish comedian who describes himself as pro-Palestine is attacked at his show by a woman who believes all Jews are evil.
This antisemitic garbage has become totally normalised. Social media brain rot!
Sorry, what????
Understated class. Stunning.

What a classy couple. @HKane how proud you must be to have a beauty by your side. She looks stunning.
Fabulous night, Fabulous award.

You should consider a career in comedy.
This is genuinely funny.
Dear Tottenham hotspur,
Harry Kane was never built from your academy, that glory belongs to Arsenal to keep.
Let me give you a brief breakdown of his career, the career you guys already killed and buried before he ran for help at Bayern-Munich where he achieved this huge milestone. It would have never been possible, if he was still with you guys… same way Modric ran from you guys 😂😂😂.
Harry Kane began playing organised football at the local grassroots club Ridgeway Rovers in Chingford (Essex) at about age 5–7. From there he joined (ARSENAL’S youth/pre-academy) setup (typically listed as around ages 7–9 or specifically at age 8). He was released after roughly one season, described by then academy head Liam Brady as being “a bit chubby” and not very athletic at the time.
He returned to Ridgeway Rovers, later had a short trial at (WATFORD’S academy, around age 11 in 2004), and then joined Tottenham Hotspur’s academy at age 11 after impressing in a game against Spurs while on trial at Watford. He progressed through Tottenham’s system (scholarship at 16 in 2009, professional contract soon after) and became one of the club’s all-time greats before moving to Bayern Munich.
IN SHORT, ARSENAL was the first professional club academy he entered in England, Tottenham was the one where he developed into a senior professional.
And as for the thank you speech, what he actually meant was “thank you for letting me go” 🤝

I’d like to apologise.
The last week has finally made me understand that the real victims of the shocking rise in antisemitism are not Jewish people (and Jewish school children in particular) but Owen Jones, Sarah Helm and Sally Rooney.
I hope they’re ok and I’m very sorry for having got this wrong.
This is quite something.
It’s about time pampered players, rather than an under pressure manager, felt the brunt of fan fury.
After that incredible #Tottenham performance yesterday, I was so proud to hear this beautiful story about what Kinsky said to Penders after the game.
“I went straight to him because, honestly, I felt for him. I know how difficult that moment must have been. You make your first Premier League start, you want to show everyone what you can do, and suddenly one mistake becomes the moment everybody remembers. I told him, ‘Look at me. Keep your head up. You are still the same goalkeeper you were before that corner. One moment does not define you. People sometimes forget how lonely it can feel to be a goalkeeper. An attacker misses three chances, and people talk about the chances he might score next week. A goalkeeper makes one mistake, and suddenly people question his entire career. That isn’t fair. I told him the next time you make a great save, remember that the people laughing today might be the first ones praising you tomorrow. We won 2–0, and of course I’m happy. But I’m also a goalkeeper, and I understand what that moment can do to your mind. I hope he has people around him reminding him that he’s more than one mistake”
What remarkable kindness, compassion and wisdom from a young man who has faced so many challenges already in his career.
Very proud to have him as Spurs number 1.

Tonight, Cardiff Castle will light up green to mark Dwarfism Awareness Day. 💚
The illumination celebrates diversity and helps raise awareness and understanding of dwarfism. orlo.uk/S4Qel
And you wonder why people get angry.
Not like the 11th hour of the 11th month is earmarked for anything particular.
Lest We Forget….
How utterly disgusting.
