You don't have to have it all figured out.
Following God isn't always about seeing the whole plan.
Even after I've prayed, studied, and asked people I trust, sometimes I still don't have perfect clarity.
That's okay.
You don't need the whole picture — just the next step.
Before you set your next goal, sit with this one first.
If everything on your list got checked off this year... who else's life would actually be different because of it?
Effort spent only on yourself has a ceiling.
Effort spent on someone else doesn't.
Respectfully, CC’s behavior is very Christ-like. I can’t criticize that.
Caitlin Clark, how much more proof do you need?
You have been beaten to hell, mocked, disrespected, minimized, overlooked, talked about behind your back and treated like an inconvenience by people who have benefited enormously from everything your arrival has done for this league.
You have taken cheap shots on the court, contempt off it, lectures from people who resent the attention you receive, and criticism from people who would kill for a fraction of the audience you brought with you.
And through all of it, you keep extending grace.
You keep defending them.
You keep lowering your head, choosing the diplomatic answer and protecting people who have shown absolutely no hesitation about taking shots at you.
At some point, that stops looking gracious and starts looking like you refuse to read the room.
Great basketball got you here. Great basketball made you a superstar. Great basketball changed the economics, television ratings, attendance and relevance of this league.
Great basketball is not going to clean up the culture surrounding you.
You are going to have to decide who the hell you are.
Either you understand that you are the most powerful player in women’s basketball, or you keep allowing people who resent that reality to dictate the terms of your existence inside this league.
Stop apologizing for your impact.
Stop making yourself smaller so everyone else can feel bigger.
Stop protecting people who would never protect you with the same intensity.
Stop bowing at the feet of a culture that has spent years demanding your humility while showing precious little humility toward you.
You do not owe anyone an apology for being the superstar.
You do not owe anyone guilt for being popular.
You do not owe anyone silence while they insult you, stereotype your fans, question your success or treat your presence like something the league has to endure.
READ THE DAMN ROOM.
They know exactly how powerful you are.
The only person who still seems reluctant to acknowledge it is you.
Own it.
Use it.
Demand better.
Because if Caitlin Clark continues surrendering her voice to people who have spent years diminishing her, eventually the biggest obstacle standing between Caitlin Clark and the power she earned will be Caitlin Clark herself.
CC will not play for either one. Interesting. @SportsPatriotUS
The Indiana Fever have reportedly reached out to several high-profile women’s basketball coaches, including Kara Lawson and Dawn Staley, as the franchise searches for its next head coach.
Indiana is reportedly preparing to part ways with Stephanie White.
“We want a coach who values our best players and is willing to build the team around them,” one Fever general manager said.
Kudos to the opposing team.
If you only watch ONE video today...
Please watch this Texas High School senior with Down syndrome run for 30 yards for the FIRST touchdown of his life!
His name is Mason Wisnoski.
He's a senior at Manvel High School in Manvel, Texas, jersey number 39.
For years, Mason has been part of the Manvel Mavericks.
He runs onto the field with the team and hands out Gatorade and water, he runs the celebration flags, but he never left the sideline.
Until now.
The coach's wife came up with an idea. Coach Kirk Martin called the head coach of their rival, Alvin High School, Matthew Bass.
A couple days before the game, they told Mason he was suiting up.
He couldn't believe it.
Mason walked out as a CAPTAIN for the coin toss, then they lined up and ran his play.
Mason took the handoff and took off down the sideline, right in front of the bleachers.
Thirty yards. Untouched.
He slid in like he was stealing third base and broke out his touchdown dance. 😂
The whole team MOBBED him and the offensive line lifted him onto their shoulders and carried him off the field.
Oh, and it was his 18TH BIRTHDAY.
His dad said it best: "It just shows that kids with disabilities are more alike than they are different."
THIS IS THE AMERICA I KNOW!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
