Since his debut, Jake Doyle has been excellent in his role on AEW television. I was introduced to Jake Something as this superhero-like babyface figure in DPW. Seeing him wrestle live was a crazy experience. The connection he had with that audience was unbelievable authentic, and he was one of the best at conjuring that connection. Seeing him play the complete opposite role in AEW, becoming this monstrous, animalistic beast of a wrestler has been awesome.
There isn’t a single second where Doyle isn’t fully immersed within his character, and it really adds a lot to his performances. He was unfortunately hurt shortly after his debut, but came back just as, if not more impactful than he was before he left. There aren’t many pro wrestlers today I’m rooting for harder than Doyle, man. Give him the ball and he’s putting up a consistent 26 and 8 with ease.
Not gonna lie if you had told me in 2017 that the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada would face Edge outside of WWE in 9 years time, I would have probably thrown a brick at your head

This afternoon in Marble Hill, a New Yorker was shot by an ICE agent in a residential neighborhood. Early reports indicate agents surrounded him and a 5-year-old child in his car before firing multiple rounds. We believe the child was physically unharmed.
This is an unconscionable and incredibly serious situation. I have called the President; when we speak I will demand that he ends all ICE enforcement actions in our city. I will not stand by while ICE agents terrorize our communities.
Our thoughts are with the injured New Yorker and his family tonight. We are praying for his recovery.
Get ICE out of our neighborhoods. Get ICE out of our hospitals. Get ICE off our streets. Get ICE away from our children.
