Back in 2018 when we dived a bit deeper into #DoughnutEconomics one of the things many of you have heard me say before is I was particularly taken by the frameworks ability to adapt to context, and to structurally layer on qualitative, quantitive data / stories and to build a picture not only of where you currently are and to be able to visualise the scale of the challenges, but also to bring in historical context, many different approaches and ideas at different intersections but also to have a compass as a direction, trying to move away from metrics that didn’t serve where we needed to move and try to measure and work towards the myriad of what matters not get lost in any one idea of transformation. We’ve been working with it ever since at many layers. Looking forward to sharing some of that today at Global Doughnut Day, as part of a global day of activities across the world coordinated by @DoughnutEcon. Join our programme below or find out more about what else is happened #GlobalDonutDay on the hashtag. High five to @Catraws, @charliedmonds, + @kavita_bp for bringing this together 💚 – at Birmingham, England
