Rail Teamsters from the @BLET and their union coalition remain on strike at the MTA-owned Long Island Rail Road. After more than three years with no raises, LIRR’s union workers, including 500 Teamsters locomotive engineers, will not make any more sacrifices to cover for the MTA’s mismanagement. It's time to give our members the fair deal they deserve.

The Bronx is demanding action on surveillance pricing! 🙅🏽‍♀️ New Yorkers shouldn’t be charged more for the same product because an algorithm is using their ZIP code, income, age, or online activity to figure out their maximum financial pain point.   It’s time to pass the One Fair Price Package to end surveillance pricing! Alongside @NewYorkStateAG, @bronxbp, labor partners, advocates, and community leaders, we’re fighting for one fair price for all New Yorkers. Let’s get it done.

Happy 4/20 from Local 338! Without the members we proudly represent, celebrating today (and every day) would be a lot harder. Make sure to shop union today, and don’t forget to tip your budtender! You can find a full list of unionized dispensaries at local338cannabis.org!

Proud to be part of a national conversation on what it takes to move policy at the local level. As a prime sponsor of Int. 729, I spoke about the responsibility we have to set guardrails as technology continues to reshape our workplaces. Innovation is here—but it cannot come at the cost of worker safety, job stability, or dignity. Thank you @rwdsustronger /UFCW, @UFCW1500 , and @Local338 for the opportunity to join this panel and for your leadership in driving this important conversation and identifying where policies like this must step in. #LaborRights #WorkerSafety #EconomicJustice #Intro729 #PublicPolicy

Large grocery chains are quietly replacing paper price tags with electronic shelf labels- digital screens that can change prices at any moment. There is currently no legislation preventing stores from using this technology, but it is time to change that. UFCW.org/StopESL

“I don’t work here.” That’s what New Yorkers are saying—and they’re right. Self-checkout was never meant to replace workers or shift responsibility onto customers. Alongside RWDSU/UFCW @Local338 and @UFCW1500, we’re pushing legislation to fix a broken system—one that could save stores billions while restoring jobs for retail workers and cashiers. Appreciate @PIX11News for discussing the bill and helping bring attention to this issue.
