BREAKING: Joe Brolly parts ways with Mayo club days from start of Championship mayonews.ie/sport/gaa/breaki…
Today I join others from across our game and call for Gianni Infantino to resign as FIFA President.
Infantino has debased the office that he promised to elevate. He has lied, deceived and tried to feather his own nest at the expense of the game he is supposed to serve.
He has lost the support of his senior staff, his closest advisers, the vast majority of people who devote their lives to this sport and even, it would seem, the FIFA Peace Prize winner.
It is too late to save his dignity but it is not too late to save football. He should go. Now.

Some year for sharing of the spoils. I make it 19 counties that picked up some sort of silver during 2026🏐
🏆
Mayo - All Ireland Snr.
🏆
Wicklow - Tailteann Cup
🏆🏆🏆
Roscommon - Connacht Snr, U20 & Minor.
🏆🏆
Westmeath - Leinster Snr, O'Byrne Cup
🏆
Armagh - Ulster Snr
I've done all the calculations and it is true... The cream always rises to the top
Round 1 of the Westmeath SFC done and Hes is top spot. Scorers. 2pointers.
And yet Lomans had the fewest scorers of any SFC side...
Kinnegad bucking their 2025 trend of having no top scorer..

The New York Knicks went 53 years without an NBA championship. Arsenal waited 22 years to lift another Premier League trophy.
But Mayo's All-Ireland title win in Gaelic football blew this year's high-profile sporting exorcisms out of the water.
Entering the Boston Red Sox’s “Curse of the Bambino” territory, Mayo went 75 years without success, losing 11 finals after an Irish priest supposedly condemned the team's celebrations following their 1951 title win.

"Are you serious about arresting Netanyahu?"
Mamdani: "100%. Yes."
Reporter: "Trump said he won’t."
Mamdani: "He has a warrant for war crimes. Trump may protect him. I won't."
Cunt
Update: It was acl and meniscus. It is the same injury as the first Holloway fight, only this time the opposite leg. Quite shocking. I returned to competition within 9 months to fight Diego Brandao back then. With today’s regenerative medicine advancements and improved training methods it is well within my realm to return by next summer. I am walking without a crutch. I done leg extension machine work the other day to no issue. So I can walk without aid, and activate my quad under resistance. All very positive. I am maximum discipline and have maintained it fully since the bout. I wonder was I saved from something worse here. I believe so. I would have attended the after party as “the man” and who knows then. I believe I was saved.
Thank you God!
On we go, no sad stories. Thank you for the support and well wishes everyone, your health is your wealth ❤️🙏

Finding this quite hard to stomach from a country that is bombing the shit out of other countries…
From one of the worst hurling finals ever to one of the worst - if not THE worst - World Cup final ever... So much for hyping the day up..
Worst hurling final in a long time. Limerick streets ahead without needing to be near their best. Galway tactically outgunned unfortunately but no doubt they'll be back again. Limerick strolling
