Moments like this are why KEXP matters. A listener heard us on air and this happened. This is what supporting independent artists look like. And this is how and why music matters!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who was part of bringing this song and video to life. This song came from a hard place, and having people around us who understood that made all the difference.

Thank you, Oja @Bimol_Akoijam, for expressing the heart and soul of every Indigenous #Manipuri.
Goosebumps.
Today, you won the heart of every Manipuri.
Manipur Imana Yaiphare...💪
In 2017 we met the krautrock legend Damo Suzuki when we played at a music festival for the first time (Ziro Festival of Music). Witnessing him perform was pure magic and an otherworldly experience, and that's when we learned about his work with the undisputed
kings of krautrock group, Can, and thus began our love for pulsating beats, droning guitar, repetitive & experimental music.
Arigato, Damo. Rest in peace.

You will never be forgiven.
Dead or alive.
You and your kind shall find only torment and unrest,
even in the afterlife.
