If the VP wants to remain friends with Carlson, an individual who is thoroughly evil and full of hate for our country, for millions of Christians and, of course, Jews, and who is openly and publicly diabolical with his selection of guests and messaging, not to mention has made the most vile personal attacks against our president, then the VP will have to run for the GOP nomination with that anchor around his neck.  He will have to defend it over and over again, as will his most vocal supporters.  Should he receive the nomination, it will only get worse.  But it's up to him.  President Trump made his decision long ago, and publicly condemned Carlson.  It's not about loyalty.  It's about right versus wrong and on what basis friendships are built.  Yes, the VP will be judged, at least in part, by his very close association with Carlson, as all politicians are examined.  To be clear, most Americans do not tolerate the kind of shockingly radical and evil views held by Carlson.  They certainly do not befriend such people.  The likes of Carlson are not new to our politics.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: PM Netanyahu points the finger at Russian and Qatari ops and bots for the ‘settler violence’ blood libel, calls Jews in Israel’s heartland “extraordinary” and “very brave.” @IsraeliPM @Netanyahu tells C14’s Sophia Tupolev (@sophiatupolev) that ‘settler violence’ is a blood libel and a tool in the “8th front” disinformation war that Israel is fighting, and what he thinks it will take for Israel to overcome it.

For context that’s ($285mm) about a 0.09% weighing of Israeli equities vs. a .3% weighting of Israeli stocks in global markets. @MarkLevineNYC also cited the relative rate of Israel bonds to the city’s pension returns as his excuse for breaking his solemn promise to New Yorkers in cutting Israel bonds, which didn’t stop him from bankrolling a union run real estate fund that yielded low single digits.
The economic relationship between New York City and Israel is deeply important, bringing substantial investment into our city and generating strong returns for our pension funds. Our funds invest around the world, including more than $285 million in Israel, primarily in equities. Israel remains one of the world’s most dynamic and innovative economies, and those holdings remain an important part of our portfolio. They also make clear that New York City’s pension funds are not engaging in BDS. I expressed my deep appreciation for the Israel-NYC economic relationship during my campaign for comptroller, and that appreciation remains unchanged. I also pledged to make every investment decision free of politics, based solely on its financial merits and my fiduciary responsibility to 750,000 current and future retirees. We apply those same principles to Israel Bonds. At present, a number of challenges, including constraints related to a rules change on our short-term investment desk made by the previous comptroller, prevent us from making direct purchases. We continue to evaluate this investment, as we do all potential investments. Anyone suggesting that this means I am giving up on Israel is trying to turn the ordinary rebalancing and management of a pension portfolio into a political issue. That is simply not the case. Our commitment to investing in Israel remains clear in the hundreds of millions of dollars in Israeli equities that our pension funds continue to hold. Like many Jewish New Yorkers, my deep personal connection to Israel is a part of who I am. It will not change. As New York City comptroller, I also have a solemn duty to safeguard our city’s pension funds, and I will not shirk that responsibility. I will continue to honor both commitments with integrity.

NYC Comptroller Mark Levine: “Israel bonds have never missed a payment in 70 years, ever, not once.” “By the way, we've had no protesting about our investments in Saudi Arabia, our investments in Pakistan or China, only this one little, tiny sliver.”

NEW: In his 10th month in office, @MarkLevineNYC has decided not to reinvest in Israeli bonds, breaking a campaign promise on a particularly fraught issue. He said he still supports Israel, but that the bonds aren’t strong enough investments: nytimes.com/2026/10/14/nyreg… via @NYTimes

Facts are facts. Abdul’s family is directly tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. Maybe one day he will tell Michiganders the truth… But if not, you can just take his sister’s word for it.

BREAKING: Abdul El-Sayed's campaign is responding to @FoxNews after unearthed social media posts from El Sayed's sister in 2012 appear to show her saying her family has been involved with and supportive of the Muslim Brotherhood. I asked the campaign if they deny the posts are in fact from his sister, and what comment they have given that El-Sayed just told Meet the Press over the weekend that nobody in his family has any ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. This is what they told me. “Abdul is a dad and a doctor. He has spent his entire career working to keep Michiganders healthy and safe. Independent fact checkers have repeatedly debunked Mike’s lies, but their campaign continues to use bad faith attacks on Abdul's faith and family. Mike wants to distract from Trump’s agenda that is terrorizing Michigan families at the pump and at the grocery store." - El-Sayed campaign spokesperson Roxie Richner. On background, the campaign says that claims El Sayed and his family are part of the Muslim Brotherhood have been debunked as "racist" and "untrue".
