I’m never gonna advocate for models in which law-enforcement, authority and government is the one regulating this industry and my lifestyle. It’s actually fucking foolish to think letting the state regulate sex workers and their industry is some sort of compassionate stance. It does not keep us safe. It does not actively aid us in getting rights or access; it does the fucking opposite. Of course there are sex workers out here that are advocating for legalization, that doesn’t mean they’re right! There is a reason that I’ve spent years advocating for this work to be fully decriminalized, fully destigmatize and for workers to be fully decarcerated.
