How many teachers does it take to do a subtraction problem? One, because it only takes one teacher to make a difference. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Spent some time this morning collaborating to discover how many possible solutions a 3D tic-tac-toe board would have with 3x3x3 (black writing) and then 4x4x4 (red writing) #tni2024 #longlivemath @carnegielearn

Working on matching models and expressions at #TNI2024 and the pairing of expressions T with model A was my favorite one. #longlivemath

Polled my students at the end of their exit ticket on the week of using the #interactivenotebook I made for this section of the textbook. See their results! (Spoiler: majority LOVE ❤️ it!) Definitely glad that @mmarotta and @csheil taught me about them #multimediafsu #gafefsu

Everyone is so familiar with bullet points that it’s hard to think of another way to structure content. But when you choose to write lengthy bullet points, you’re actually distracting your audience. So what should we use instead? Let’s find out slidescarnival.com/how-to-de… #DesignTips

So excited to use this new feature! #multimediafsu
📢 You all evolved how you teach for remote learning—so we followed your lead. We've graduated beyond simple multiple-choice to replace in-class activities and spark critical thinking @🏠. Our team worked OVERTIME to get these out👷‍♀️ Please share feedback and spread the word 💜

A1: I think that this is because the education model we have been using has not been revised (in many areas) to keep up with technology. #gafefsu
I loved using @Mentimeter to help my students create norms for our @zoom calls! New idea for those #distancelearning #gafefsu

Stumbled upon how to play my slide show for my #interactivenotebook on #nthroots and #rationalexponents. I love that I can display this work. #gafefsu

Agreed! I’m loving using iMovie for little things for my students as we transition to #distancelearning this spring. #gafefsu

This is great for stitching together small clips from screencastify or IOS... and small clips are great for keeping your narration "umm"-less. I do have to switch between pc and ipad a bit, but the results are more polished than with standalone recordings. iOS > Win10 #gafefsu

Here is a peak at the presentation I gave on Wednesday. I used a template from @SlidesManiaSM and then edited the slide master to further customize it. I love creating this kind of material! #distancelearning #googleslides #creativeteacher #gafefsu

My ah-ha from #gafefsu this morning is that I forgot that #googleslides allows you to change the shape of an image. @google
