A young person exploring their identity + sexuality told me today that they felt pressured to "be certain" + to "take pride". They said this felt oppressive + that they needed lots of time to talk, think + not to be pressured into certainty.

An idea that's been knocking around the Tory party for 20 yrs, but when they looked at the details no-one was mad enough to push it through
Priti Patel tried 3 yrs ago to revive the plan but Treasury blocked it saying the required costs for upgrading the island’s power supply, new desalination facilities, other infrastructure etc would prove exorbitant. That's even before they considered staff (c. 800 live on the island) and environmental costs!
Why don't they put all their efforts into turbo-charging the backlog, hiring more borderforce staff, smashing UK trafficking gangs and setting up legal routes. As well as fixing #brokenbritain

- The dossier obtained by Farge and my thread both show that he's not rich enough to bank with Coutts.
