Tengo un jefe que de la nada llegó a Presidente de la Nación, y en dos años y medio, cambió la forma de votar de un continente entero. Todo muy normal. Quien no podría haber hecho lo mismo, no?

$KLAR seems too easy… obviously recession=write-offs, but the value proposition to consumers would strengthen? What am I missing?

📈 DROP DESK: $RMAX $RMAX is down more than 13% today. But this isn't your typical selloff. RE/MAX is expected to complete its merger with The Real Brokerage $REAX today, and $RMAX shareholders were given a choice: $13.80 in cash or stock in the combined company. The problem? So many shareholders chose cash that they blew through the deal's $80 million cash cap. Roughly 18.5 million $RMAX shares elected cash consideration, triggering a proration mechanism. Those shareholders are now expected to receive approximately $4.33 in cash plus 0.3535 shares of the post-merger $REAX for each $RMAX share, rather than $13.80 entirely in cash. Shareholders who elected stock are expected to receive 0.5150 $REAX shares per $RMAX share. Meanwhile, $RMAX is set to disappear as a standalone stock as the deal closes, with the combined Real REMAX Group expected to trade under $REAX. So today's 13% drop isn't necessarily a verdict on RE/MAX's business. It's happening as the market works through merger consideration, cash proration and share conversion. Stocks don’t drop for no reason.

Learning curves for individual topics level off, but if you work at it as you get older, your total curve for the sum of all topics stays pretty linear. Put differently: No matter how old I get, when I think back to myself 10 years earlier, I keep concluding “wow was I cripplingly ignorant back then.”

People give Warren Buffett credit for his capital allocation, patience, and discipline. But one of his most overlooked strengths is that he is a world-class student of human behavior. At its core, investing is about understanding people: customers, managers, competitors, employees etc. The best investors will also be the best social scientists.

Just for reference the market cap of the entire stock markets: • UK: ~$3.94 trillion • France: ~$3.45 trillion • Germany: ~$3.04 trillion Europe is becoming really poor. But hey, why don’t you introduce more regulations, or even higher taxes? This will fix things.

$RAVE We *may* be in a bubble in certain pockets, but there is still an unbelievable amount of opportunity in this market.
$RAVE Good write up and likely conservative in places imo. Shares have been under technical pressure with a 13d filer exiting. Picked some up last week.

Either someone knows something the rest of us are oblivious to… or they’re playing Russian roulette. Tomorrow’s report should be interesting $LUXE
~4m shares short at $LUXE. Small % of O/S (~140m), but float is only ~17m. Limited daily volume <200k. So >20 days to cover. Seems like it could get squeezy tomorrow when they report.
