LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule is reportedly working on a new social-sim game, similar to Animal Crossing, and it may be released next year. bit.ly/4y5uaG6

I genuinely have no insight into what Media Molecule are currently working on, so I'm speaking 100% as a fan.
However the social aspect of LittleBigPlanet is probably the biggest thing that I would have liked to have seen expanded someday.
Our telemetry data showed that social hub and roleplaying levels were among our most popular community levels (it's precisely why they got a dedicated category when I introduced Genres to the Community Menu).
So I really would have liked a future game in the series to have a proper social space developed in-game for player avatars to meet, greet and socialise.
Before heading off to LittleBigPlanet together to see what community levels and creations awaited them there. ❤️
