Imagine finding out your professor is posting stuff like this
True story.
Back at Dalhousie this fall, teaching a graduate course on information and decision-making.
Told my students: “Diversify your information sources. Explore different perspectives, especially independent ones.”
One student replied, “I do that all the time.”
Me: “Great! Who’s your favourite source?”
Student: “Rachel Gilmore.”
Me: “Excellent. I see we’ll need an extra lecture on source legitimacy.”

Everyone knows communists tend to head banks . They love banks. Can’t get enough of banking.
Waiting for the West to rename eating with hand as "sensory food experience".
And voila!! It becomes the new trend.
Ofcourse backed by an ivy league with a 47-page study 🤦😂
Uh, it was elbows up and less about torturing Upper Michaganders then doing a demolishing all of Seattle.
Israel faces serious threats from outside its borders. Canada faces serious threats from South of its border.
I genuinely believe Canada could benefit from Israel's example - how to survive, and prevail, when facing such existential threats. How to win when under attack.
Israel knows how.

It’s time to break up the grocery monopoly.
There’s a clause hiding in grocery store leases that keeps your bill high, and most people have never heard of it. It’s called a property control, and the giant chains use it to block competitors from opening anywhere near them.
Doug Ford voted against banning them. Watch me explain what he’s protecting, in 60 seconds.
Our government talks about Canadian values on the world stage, but we need it to act with moral clarity when it matters.
It’s long past time to cancel the Canada-Israel free trade agreement, issue sanctions, and use every diplomatic tool at our disposal to rein in this rogue state.
Anything less is a green light for Israel to continue killing civilians with impunity.
The IDF’s decision not to pursue a criminal investigation into the killing of seven World Central Kitchen humanitarian workers, including Jacob Flickinger, a Canadian citizen, is unacceptable.
Serious failures were identified in the conduct of the strike, and closing the case without further accountability leaves their families without the answers they have sought for more than two years.
Humanitarian workers delivering food and other life-saving assistance in conflict zones must be protected. Canada expects international humanitarian law to be upheld and will continue pressing for a full accounting of what happened, along with justice for the seven workers who were killed and their families.

Luigi Mangione pleaded guilty today; one of the things he said was:
“I emailed United Healthcare’s leadership, posing as an investor managing $58 billion. Unlike my other experiences with the company, I was contacted back within 1 hour.”
Damn.

The gall and hubris to call President Biden a traitor when she was knowingly accepting payments, from the Ruskies, to spread misinformation designed to poison and hurt our country.
Lauren Chen is a traitor.

At the time Lauren Chen wrote this tweet she was a full time Putin employee.

Why bother voting when they're just going to rig it anyways, conservatives should stay home to protest this election system
I've been watching @bitterasiandude fufill my need for Canadian immigrant representation for two decades; as a nerdy Go Train commuter, a caring Appa, skilled X-Wing pilot and now Uncle Iroh. Can't wait for next season and his next project.

It's insane how a pilot program to give 500 families ~$35 dollars a day to buy food (saving the city millions compared to giving food directly) has been twisted into "10k to every illegal".

Strong men pay taxes. Paid taxes create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men hate taxes. Unpaid taxes create hard times. Hard times create strong men.

I'm beyond proud that our paper "Unconditional cash transfers reduce homelessness" is published at @PNASNews today! This is the most ambitious project I've ever done, and it truly took a village for the last 7 years 🥳❤️🧵
