Oh the shadow was fully aware of the other's presence. It was a key thing her fathers told her, to always be aware of your surroundings. But she'd act as if she wasn't aware nonetheless.

|| Also I will try to give her a stronger vocabulary, even though she is a child. Since she reads rather often, studying into whatever amuses her, it wouldn't be unlikely for her to understand quite a lot. Even if she plays dumb. ||

She'd stare at him for a minute, not blinking. Not that she ever needed to in the first place. "I believe y-you missed my p-point. My d-daddy was right. People a-are headaches." The young shade would tilt her head. "Implying m-my stuttering n-needs to be 'fixed'."

"You'd be sur-surprised to learn about h-how many people can b-be rather skilled in f-fight when they're pushed in a-a corner." She'd raise a brow. "You j-just complained a-about my stuttering."

"So you l-like the c-crazy scared and he-helpless people? T-that makes no s-sense." She'd simply smile, some of her sharp teeth coming into view, "That's n-not my problem."

Tugging on @Acrimonx 's sleeve for only a short moment to simply catch his attention, before stepping back to give some space while she'd tilt her head as she spoke. "I have a question Uncle Blue; How do I sound more confident around strangers?"
