Let's finish what we started! We Love Denver & we’re building a city that loves us back with safety, social housing & good union jobs.
A city that cares for children, protects renters & invests in safe transit is a city that works for its people. Join us! m.youtube.com/watch?v=AAMk7k…
44% of Latinos in Colorado fear losing their homes. Rising costs put generational wealth—from youth to adulthood—at risk.
As mayor, I’ll expand eviction defense, support rent stabilization and invest in affordable housing so families can thrive.

The charming shops and local businesses on Tennyson Street that I grew up with are being priced out by corporate landlords charging 3x the rent over the past 10 years.
The Northside, once home to a large Latino population, is a cautionary tale of how unchecked investment firms accelerate gentrification, displacing residents and local businesses.
As Mayor I will introduce anti-displacement initiatives to stabilize rent, establish a corporate landlord vacancy tax, and support small businesses.
Denver’s growth shouldn’t push them out! 💜

In an 8-4 vote Denver City Council approved nearly $1 million for CAO Miko Brown's former law firm WTO to fight whistleblowers Everett Martinez & Jessica Calderon.
It's not a "purity test" to oppose WTO's ties to GEO & retaliation against city workers. It's accountability.
Shame.

Public transit should be safe for everyone.
Mayor Mike Johnston celebrated the opening of the new BRT lanes, while residents, bus drivers, customers, and businesses are still navigating confusing traffic patterns and maps that have not yet been fully updated to reflect new turn and lane restrictions.
As Denver expands BRT and public transportation, we need to make sure safety remains a priority for our neighborhoods. As Mayor, I plan to restore dedicated transportation and infrastructure funding to support safer streets and transit.

We got a million Coloradans crushed by medical debt. Teachers living counties away from where they work. Lots of work to do, but it starts with fixing our broken tax system.

Denver can't solve the housing crisis by expanding the public safety budget while cutting eviction defense.
Instead of funding flashy programs run by out-of-state franchise providers, I will invest in the proven, cost-effective community interventions that Johnston has ignored.
I will invest to keep Denver families stabily housed. 🌹

For Denver to be a welcoming and safe City, our local government shouldn’t be doing business with ICE contractors or retaliating against the airport's own lawyer for refusing to violate the law by creating fake justifications for denying contracts.
While Johnston claims his hands are tied on Key Lime Air's deportation flights, we have the power to choose who we lease our airport to.
We need to stand with our immigrant neighbors and demand public contracts that reflect our values. 🌹

When Denverites call 911, they deserve a timely response — and a human on the other end.
As Mayor, I will fully staff Denver’s emergency call center and prohibit AI from replacing human communication in life-and-death emergency calls. Technology should support our workers, not replace them when lives are on the line.
I also plan to continue investing in STAR so mental and behavioral health crises can be handled by trained professionals, while keeping emergency resources available for the calls that need them most.
Public safety means answering the call and sending the right help. 💜

Your daily reminder that the same law firm, WTO, that fought to keep health inspectors out of Geo’s ICE detention facility is the same one that Mayor Johnston's City Attorney, Miko Brown, pays $800 an hour to fight the reinstatement of two Latino whistleblowers.
Within our first 100 days, we will clean house, restore integrity to the CAO, and divest from contractors with ties to ICE.

Changes to Medicaid eligibility could leave more Denverites struggling to access the care they need.
Community-based organizations help residents navigate complicated systems and connect with critical resources.
As mayor, I propose cultivating a network of alternative healthcare providers to help reduce the cost of prescriptions, exams, and preventative care while strengthening the community organizations already doing this work.
Healthcare access starts in our communities. 💜

Rising food insecurity among Latino families shows we need to do more.
As mayor, I’ll invest in community food providers, expand community gardens, and work toward a city-owned grocery store to help keep food affordable.
Denver families deserve relief. 💜

Denver needs more affordable housing, not more police parking lots.
I would reduce the space dedicated to police parking and increase the space for affordable housing.
We can invest in public safety AND make smarter use of public land.
Denver can change its plans. As mayor, I will.

Johnston is proposing two shelters within 10 blocks in Swansea—a community already carrying some of Denver’s heaviest environmental and development burdens.
My administration will prioritize social housing and permanent supportive housing instead of relying on large temporary facilities.
And before major facilities are placed in a neighborhood, residents deserve meaningful engagement.
Our goal should be clear: Streets → Stability → Permanent Housing.

It's time to overhaul the Denver City Attorney's office.
One person should never have the power to reward their former law firm while overwriting City Council's checks and balances.
Denverites deserve accountability.

Better transit is important for Denver, but small businesses shouldn’t have to struggle while we build it.
Along Colfax, many businesses stayed open through BRT construction while facing declining revenues, fewer customers, and months of disruption. Staying open doesn’t mean they aren’t hurting.
My plan will provide tax relief and additional support for small businesses impacted by major city construction projects.
We can improve Denver’s transportation without leaving our local businesses behind. 💜

When “affordable” housing sits empty while Denver families are still struggling to find a place they can afford, something isn’t working.
We need housing that is actually affordable to the people who live and work here. My plan prioritizes permanently affordable social housing, renter protections, and using city-owned land to build the housing Denver needs.
Affordable for WHO? It’s time we start asking. 💜
