Always remember, Dmitriev stole tens of millions of dollars from the Russian taxpayer to buy luxury properties in Monaco, France and Russia, using Cypriot offshore financial entities registered in his relatives' names. Lifting sanctions benefits him and his wife Natalya Popova directly. Here is Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation: "The total value of Dmitriev and Popova's French properties is 16 million euros, or one and a half billion rubles." Dmitriev is subject to EU sanctions. (He's also subject to U.S. sanctions, though they're waived to let him travel to Miami on a regular basis.) He'd love nothing more than for Trump to force a dismal deal on Ukraine that gets these sanctions lifted. Perhaps a future House inquiry into Kushner and Witkoff's pay-to-play diplomacy can delve into this under-discussed aspect of the Russian side of ongoing "peace" negotiations. blog.navalny.com/p/6683/

At the end of the day, it doesn’t even matter if Zelenskyy is President of Ukraine or not. @ZelenskyyUa Putin’s goal is to take Ukraine. Then he will take Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, and he will make his way through all of Europe. People obsess over personalities too much. You could have an election in Ukraine tomorrow and Putin would still find a reason to be at war. Russia INVADED Ukraine. Not the other way around. Zelenskyy’s removal from office won’t stop Russian imperialism. It’s not about Zelenskyy. It’s about Putin. It’s always been about Putin.

Dear Mr. @elonmusk, why do you never call for Putin to go? He's ruled Russia as a dictator for 26 years. Isn't that enough? You know, Putin thinks you are a fool. He thinks he has your number. Behind closed doors, they tell jokes about you. You do his bidding here -- calling for Zelenskyy to go -- and he doesn't even have to bribe you, like Schroeder or others. I am a huge admirer of your work when it comes to making things that improve our world. Huge! I find your judgments of Putin naive. But I know I might be "biased." He has killed some of my friends & colleagues. My guess is he hasn't killed any of your friends. Please spend some time in Kyiv. Meet some mothers whose kids were deliberately killed by Putin's drones. And then go to Moscow and try to meet some mothers whose kids were deliberately targeted by Ukrainian rockets and drones. You won't find any. Putin is slaughtering innocent civilians in Ukraine on purpose. Zelenskyy is not.
And so the slaughter continues … Time for Zelensky to go

A reminder that a huge amount of components used in the latest russian drones are from the United States. But god forbid starlink is used to help Ukraine defend itself

The Insider: China supplies Russia with modems for long-range drones The outlet found that Chinese company Xingkai Tech is willing to supply Russia with mesh modems for drones. Journalists examined a modem found in a Gerbera drone and, posing as a Russian supplier, ordered 500 devices for a factory in Alabuga. The company issued an invoice even though the journalists stated that the modems were intended for military production. The modems are used in Geran and Gerbera drones. They allow the drones to exchange data and continue flying over long distances. According to the outlet, Chinese banks are also helping process these transactions.

In the past few days Trump has taken sanctions off Russia’s energy, asked to buy diesel from Russia, restricted StarLink, stopped sharing intel on incoming missiles, & asked Europe to unfreeze Russian assets to give to Russia. Hope Americans aren’t confused on who he works for

The little green men are here: a newly emerged Belarusian extremist group called “Black Rus” has claimed responsibility for the border incidents in Latvia. Masked individuals allegedly threatened Latvian soldiers, helped push migrants towards the border, entered Latvian territory, damaged electrical equipment and stole surveillance cameras. "Black Rus", which calls for the forced subjugation of Ukraine and the unification of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, has promised further sabotage operations against NATO countries. This is literally a Russian psyop/military operation.

❗️I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Canadian people for their unwavering support of Ukraine. From the very first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Canada has stood firmly with us — providing substantial military assistance, including armoured vehicles, artillery, ammunition, air defence systems and training for tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers under Operation UNIFIER. Beyond the battlefield, Canada has offered billions in financial and humanitarian aid, helped keep our energy system and public services running, and opened its doors to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians seeking safety. Thank you, beautiful Canada and your wonderful people, for standing with us not just with words, but with real, consistent action. Your solidarity means more than we can say. 🇺🇦❤️🇨🇦

Starlink is not used in Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries because it doesn’t work above Russia. If Elon Musk decides to signal his dislike of Zelensky by turning off Starlink, it will lead to many thousands more Ukrainian deaths on the frontline, will severely damage the SpaceX brand internationally (countries will know they can’t rely on it in times of real crisis), but will have zero effect on Ukrainian strikes against the Russian oil and gas industry. It will also not end the war.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has the overwhelming support of the United States Congress, he has the overwhelming support of the American people, and he has the overwhelming support of the Ukrainian people. Russian illegally invaded Ukraine, a sovereign and freedom-loving nation, and Russia is squarely to blame for all damage and destruction, to both lives and treasure, that has resulted from Putin’s unprovoked attack. @ZelenskyyUa, you know that the United States Congress, and the American people, stand 100% behind you. The Ukrainian people are so blessed to have you leading them in these difficult times. We have your back, and we will stand with you until Ukrainian victory is achieved. 🇺🇸 🇺🇦

Russia steps up bid to kill European defence chiefs, spy agencies warn With progress on the battlefield deadlocked in Ukraine and Russia’s economy struggling, the Kremlin has ordered an expansion of sabotage and “hybrid” operations in Europe as it seeks to fatally weaken support for Kyiv in the coming months.  Assassinations against European civilian targets — once considered taboo, even by Russia’s spy agencies — are an increasingly prominent part of those plans, European intelligence services have told the @FT.  Sam Jones, @laurapitel @sylviapfeifer ft.com/content/5da2dd05-9583…
