Over the weekend, we received welcome news confirming an eye care service for all special schools (not just residential).
However, it is vital that the rollout maintains the high standard of care proven to work, and that it starts this year, not next.

NHS sight tests will be made available in all special school settings from next year!
The service will help up to 165,000 children with special education needs access sight tests in comfortable learning environments.
