These three boys (men) are funny and full of joy. Grateful I could be their mom. From driving our ratty suburban all over creation, to watching Tommy Boy, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, to little league baseball games to seeing them baptized and married. #boymom
I love my husband but let’s just say…..I‘d download the latest Baldacci , Vince Flynn, Silva or Clancy novel, I would put on my headphones, listen to music, eat snacks and maybe wine and be giddy that I was on vacation. No crying here. 🤣

❤️👍 THREE TEXAS A&M CADETS are being honored for helping save the lives of complete strangers right here in Aggieland! And their stories deserve some attention!
Camila Ospina and David Berry were near Texas Avenue in College Station when they spotted a man who had collapsed.
The man was unresponsive and began having convulsions.
Rather than walking away, Camila helped place him in a recovery position while David called 911. Together, they stayed by his side until paramedics arrived.
In a separate emergency, senior cadet Benjamin Claypole rushed to help a woman who had been hit by a vehicle while riding a moped.
He actually took off his own shirt and used it to apply pressure to her wound until medical crews arrived.
Now, all three have received the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Life Saving Award, a rare honor recognizing extraordinary courage and service to others.
And here’s what stands out to me: None of these young people knew they were going to face an emergency that day. They simply saw someone who needed help and stepped up.
❤️ These are the kinds of young people who make Aggieland proud!

I am Team Kelly Clarkson. She’s sweet and funny and one of the best singers ever. I just adore her and wish her the best.
Each year I’ve decided to have a word that defines my goal or my thought for the year. Last year was “Grateful”. This year is “Intentional”. This next year is the word “Connection”. How am I connecting with my friends, the lost, the searching, the sweet souls I know?
This is true. Especially for me and my sons.

One of a kind. Congrats @JJWatt
I know political commercials are important and tell us information about the candidates but I am so tired of them and we have over 2 weeks to go. At this point, haven't we all pretty much decided who we will vote for? I just wish there was a funny one that made me laugh.
Ten for Texas on this beautiful day. He ran faster than last year because we had a special cheerleader.
How do I know I need my glasses? I decided to put color spray touch up on my roots and instead of the color spray I picked up travel size hairspray. It was too late to wash my hair again so my hair was stiff as a board all day with both. But at least there were no grays. 🤣
What a sweet devotional. These words resonated today

I’m ready for the last day of trial. Many times I light a candle in dockets due to my court smelling so terrible. I’m just about ready to rent a carpet cleaning machine myself. I already spray air freshener like a crazy person.

The following is a beautiful statement from the family of Ashley Smith Flynn, which I am sharing to honor her life and preserve the memory of our sister in Christ:
____________________
Today's verdict brings justice and accountability for Ashley's death and our family is deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring us to this moment.
However, no verdict can bring Ashley back, give the girls back their mother, or erase the pain our family has endured. The cruelty of what happened to Ashley, and the things we've been forced to hear and relive, have at times felt unbearable.
But through all of it, we've held tightly to this truth. Ashley's life will not be defined by the way it ended. She'll be remembered for the way she lived.
Ashley loved Jesus with her whole heart. Her faith wasn't simply something she simply spoke about. It was how she lived. She loved people well, found joy beyond her circumstances, prayed boldly for her family, and wanted her life to point people to Jesus.
Most of all, she loved being a mom. She prayed over her girls, taught them to love God, and showed them what it looked like to live with faith, kindness, joy, and grace.
We refuse to let the evil that ended Ashley's life have the final word in her story. Our faith does not erase our grief, but it carries us through it.
We know Ashley is home with the Lord she loved and served. So as this chapter closes, our prayer is that Ashley's story does not end with a verdict.
We pray it continues through her girls, our family, and every person touched by the way she lived.
If you want to honor Ashley, love people well, pray boldly for your family, choose joy, and point people to Jesus.
We are deeply grateful to the jury for their careful attention and service, and to the Miami County Prosecutor's Office, the Tipp City Police Department, the FBI, BCI, and every investigator and advocate who worked tirelessly to seek the truth.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for, loved, and supported our family.
We ask for privacy now as we continue healing and loving Ashley's girls the way she would want them loved.
Please remember Ashley. Not for how she died, but for how beautifully she lived.
I was honored to mentor students at South Texas College of Law today and prepare them to see oral arguments tomorrow from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. (Our highest criminal court) I love the chance to get to know neat students!! Great law school!
