So incredibly proud to be sworn in as Mayor of Bexley. Looking forward to serving our residents & raising money for 3 amazing charities together with my husband & consort, Justin & my Deputy Mayor @FrazerBrooksGB. bexley.gov.uk/news/bexleys-n…
What an exciting 36hrs! The election results are in. Thank you to the residents of Longlands who have placed their trust in me. I’ll stay focused, work tirelessly, and deliver the results our community deserves.
Our Spaniels have voted to keep #Longlands Conservative to protect the green spaces they so love - #VoteConservative #DogsAtPollingStations @LonglandsOscar @louie_french
Super Saturday in Longlands
Joined by @kevinhollinrake, @louie_french, @ThomasFTurrell & an team energetic team today. Spoke to many residents about how the Conservative Party will deliver local services important to them.
VOTE Lisa-Jane Moore & Oscar Harrison on 7 May
Postal vote done and yes, I put an X next to my own name. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved for my residents over the last 5yrs and I hope to continue making a difference,
together with @LonglandsOscar. #VoteConservative
Another positive session in the sunshine speaking to Longlands residents today - thanks to @HelenGrantMP, Simon and @louie_french for joining @LonglandsOscar and I.
It took a bit of persuasion but both our benches in King George’s fields in Longlands ward were painted today by our park wardens. Don’t they look lovely? Thanks @LBofBexley
It’s arrived! A bench to replace the broken one in King George’s Fields. It’s not new, but it’s whole and will be welcomed by my residents who need a rest during a dog walk or a place to sit in the sunshine. (Now we just need the ☀️) Thank you @LBofBexley!

If you’re a parent of a teenager, please remind them about the importance of being kind to others. And shout out to Adam for being so brilliant today.
Today I & a man called Adam were stopped by a lad (yr 7) in Longlands Rd, who was distressed & lost after 3 boys intimidated him on the bus & he got off to get away. We chatted & when he was calmer, found out how we could help & got him to a bus to take him to school. 1/2
Resurfacing in Woodside Crecent in Longlands Ward coming along nicely, thanks to £6.5m invested this year to fix roads in our borough. #MakingBexleyEvenBetter
Great to attend the grand opening of the first micro-pub in Longlands ward, The Taproom - made even more special as it’s owned by one of our local residents. Congratulations, Ish and I wish you every success! @louie_french @LonglandsOscar @bexleynews
Heard about a serious fire in Heron Crescent, Longlands ward - hope everyone okay. Thanks to firefighters, police and ambulance crews who are working to keep everyone safe. Several road closures in place. If you’re nearby please keep your windows and doors shut.
Several posters illegally put up on lamposts around Longlands ward. I’ve reported those spotted during my run this morning, but please use FixMyStreet to report any near you so they can be taken down and we can fine those responsible.
So disappointed to see the litter around this bench in King George’s playing fields off Longlands Road. The bins aren’t a far walk. Please use them! Already reported this via FixMyStreet.
I’ve reported the full dog waste bins in Longlands rec - one of the good things about living in the ward I represent is I’m always out and about and can deal with issues as I see them. If you spot something that you need the council to address, use FixMyStreet to report it.
An update on another (larger) fly-tipping issue: pleased to say everything has now been cleared from the closed St Mary’s Nursing home premises on Main Road, Sidcup. Thank you to @LBofBexley for working with me to get it done.
