Gavin Newsom and his fellow communists are making great strides in hollowing out California's tax base. "The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money...”

The fact that they're going to try to blame the impending financial downturn on data centers is laughable. There are so many other factors, magnitudes larger, that will actually be deserving of blame.

They're already preparing to make data centers the scapegoat in the event of a financial downturn (which seems more inevitable each passing day). Data Centers will not be the cause, there are so many other culprits magnitudes larger, but the fact that they're already comparing it to 08 is a sign.

Can't wait to see how the media tries to spin looting the anime store into being completely justified... "The students are just wanting to learn and anime can help them!"

Ah yes, looting the anime store will certainly help those innocent French "students" just trying to make their voices heard.

Yes, because cyclists don't follow traffic laws and end up getting themselves hurt. Either you're a motor vehicle or not, you can't just pick and choose which traffic laws you follow and expect everyone to just anticipate, with 100% accuracy, exactly what you're doing.

It's truly extraordinary to watch someone operate that is not chained by standard social norms/conventions. Love him or hate him, when all is said and done, Elon will have left a larger mark on humanity than most could have ever dreamed of.

Becoming this unfazed by social decay, driven clearly by outside forces, is what allows a people to be conquered. Parisians have accepted defeat.

If Lindsay Clancy supporters got their own country, it would look exactly like modern Canada.
In 2022, a Canadian church hosted a ‘physician-assisted suicide’ in its sanctuary, ending the life of an 86-year-old congregation member. They called it a “crossing over ceremony.” 🧵

No mention of the fact that Booker has deep ties to Netflix is pretty wild here, @EriqGardner. They stand to gain the most if the deal stalls/fails, how is that not relevant?

🚨INCREDIBLE: During a multi-vehicle collision on the Route 90 bridge in Ocean City, Maryland, a 2-year-old girl was ejected from a pickup truck, falling nearly 30 feet into the Assawoman Bay below. Jonathan Bauer, who was driving across the bridge with his teenage daughter when the crash occurred, rushed over to inspect the wreckage. Looking down into the water, he saw the toddler floating face down and becoming unresponsive. Without hesitation, Bauer instructed his daughter to flag down first responders, removed his shoes, and leapt off the bridge into the bay. He swam to the little girl, lifted her onto his shoulder, and patted her back until she coughed up water and began breathing again. A passing pontoon boat quickly navigated toward them, pulling both Bauer and the toddler out of the water and transporting them to shore, where emergency personnel were waiting. The child was airlifted to a regional medical center for evaluation and released the following day in good condition. Bauer was later honored by local law enforcement and civic leaders for his decisive actions and selflessness.
