Managed a quick visit to the Revenue Museum this week. Admired the various old measuring gizmos Excise used to wield.
You can start your own Revenue Museum if you're quick... one of those very instruments is up for auction on @whiskeyauction: a gauging stick for assessing the volume of alcohol in a cask.

Was only in the door at @world_whiskey and some of this @GOMSpirits whiskey was pressed into my hand. A combo of Deep Char and Rum casks. Would happily have sipped it all night, though I understand it’s nearly sold out. New expressions on the way though.
