The R.A.S.E Farm of the Future: Journey to Net Zero report aims to show what farmers can realistically achieve, outlining the practical steps needed to decarbonise our industry. Launched this week, this future vision is a must read, available at ⬇️ tinyurl.com/FarmoftheFuture

Pourquoi l’Europe et la France soutiennent-elles le #biogaz ? Parce qu’il permet de réduire le recours aux engrais chimiques non renouvelables #biomethane #transition #agrocecologie

#RenewableNaturalGas is part of the solution. #Methane can be captured and converted to #RNG, reducing GHG emissions. #CleanEnergy #COP26 #GlobalMethanePledge Learn more: rngcoalition.com/about-rng

Today, we started building our @BrewDog HQ Bio-Plant. This £20m+ investment will enable us to turn spent grain into green gas to power our brewery & reduce our water usage by 50%. This investment is a key part of our sustainability plans. Read more: bit.ly/2PGjAoX

The Policy Connect report completely misunderstands anaerobic digestion, erroneously lumping it in with ‘energy from waste’. AD is a nutrient recycling and pollution mitigation technology with energy production. Far more opportunities for onsite Agri food/farm than food waste

Rhubarb patch. This is the second feed. Rhubarb seems to love digestate and this patch has had quite a bit fibre, as well as some liquid - in volumes that would likely make a brassica keel over! And it was cooked on biogas... #biogas #digestate #panicgrowing

Enormously proud of the entire @beeswaxfarming team this week as they adapt and work together in the face of challenges delivered by C0VID-19. The whole industry deserves huge credit #farming

Financial support is also required for local authorities to fund separate food waste collections. @WRAP_UK has good data on this and Scotland/Wales much further on the journey. Removing #food waste from incineration (efw) would be helpful, too.

#CarbonPricing is a way to encourage organisations towards cleaner solutions, by making them pay for the pollution they cause. But what is it? How does it work? And will it make enough of a difference? Here we aim to explain…#ClimateChange

I think a proper carbon price would recognise the added value of #anaerobicdigestion for nutrient recycling and pollution mitigation which wind and solar do not do.

A very well-argued piece on electrolysis - for biomethanisation, this would be good news. I know that there is a strong drive for electric, but believe that #biomethane will have a very important place in a low carbon economy. @gnievchenko thanks!

We grow food, eat it, & eliminate it, all animals do. We live & we die, & plants do too. All organic matter decomposes to methane, a climate super-polluter. Capture #organic & #renewable methane & oxidize it to CO2, entrapped by plants - a #netzero carbon cycle. #NetZeroEnergy!

I incorporate plant-based foods (vegetables!) into all my meals. Last night’s dinner was 95% #plantbased. It’s not because I’m #vegetarian, #vegan, #flexitarian or #millennial - it’s just a balanced diet! Don’t confuse eating vegetables with not eating #meat, #dairy or #eggs.

The UK needs bioenergy, time is not on our side, this is urgent. One of bioenergy’s attributes is it can save carbon immediately. Why wait 20 years for technologies with 80% carbon savings when we can begin saving 60% of carbon tomorrow with bioenergy? #BioenergyStrategy – at London, England
