🚀 Knuth v1.4.0 is out. This release strengthens chain reorganizations, synchronization, and the storage foundation behind the node. Highlights: 🔄 Chain reorganizations: undo records, block disconnection, and switching to a higher-work branch, backed by end-to-end tests covering restarts and failure paths. 🗂️ UTXO-Z 1.0.0: geometry 4, with the 48-byte storage class split across eight shards. 🛡️ Validation and persistence: full validation after the IBD checkpoint, BIP30 duplicate-coinbase handling, and stronger consistency between headers, blocks, and the UTXO set. 🌐 More reliable synchronization: improved peer fallback, block-announcement handling, and progress when the chain tip advances. 🔌 Orderly RPC shutdown.
