Speaking of character anniversaries, Wallace & Gromit celebrated 30 years on Nov 4. Their first short, "A Grand Day Out," started as a school project & was finished at Aardman. It took Nick Park 7 years to complete the film. Here's an early concept of W&G from Park's sketchbook.
