I can finally share how my first Ofsted as a Head went ⭐️ Hope this judgement inspires other schools like ours to dream big 💚 if you can see it, you can be it! #ASPIRE @satrust_ nottinghampost.com/news/nott…

Do you remember taking the daily register?
I was always late sending it to the office!

Let’s talk about trainee teachers… 🧵
Atm, there are thousands of trainee teachers in our schools. Some will be fab; some will be a bit naff. Their planning will probably not be up to scratch; their behaviour management a bit naff.
And, you know what, that’s important. 1/

The absolute POWER of a visualiser and a modelling book. Incredible. For reference, this is the FIRST time my Year 1s have ever written in a maths book. Sheets stuck in by themselves. Blown away 🙌🏼🙌🏼 these tiny wins make this job the best in the world.

Well, here are the 2023-2024 displays (thread).
There’s a lot of disagreement regarding displays but I simply don’t care. This year I’ve tried to ignite a desire to see the world as many of my students have not/ have no desire to leave their locality 🌎
