Looking back on my week in Phoenix! Many thanks to the @PhoenixSymphony for such a wonderful concert. It was an honor to open the season for you and to share "The Planets" with the most welcoming audience ☀️ 🎶💕 📸: The Phoenix Symphony / Tavit Photography

“My dream has always been the same: to make music.” 🎶 Thank you @abc15 and @JorgeTWeather for your kind words about my historic time conducting the season opener with the @PhoenixSymphony. If you are in Phoenix on October 4-6, I hope you’ll come out to see The Planets! 💕

I'm so happy to be returning to the @nyphil in March to conduct their Young People's Concert, "The Future Is Female." 📷 It's an honor to be invited back to conduct such a wonderful program that puts women composers at the center. 🦄💕

It's time to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month 🫓 I want to celebrate by releasing a playlist with some favorite Latin-American/LatinX composers. Come on a listening journey as I showcase some of the best in classical music. open.spotify.com/playlist/2D… music.apple.com/us/playlist/…

I’m excited and proud to serve as a storyteller for a vast array of composers, all of who will be explored in my 2024-2025 season. It’s my honor to present their works with some of my dearest colleagues and some truly magical orchestras.

(2/3) Thank you to all the audiences, the players, the conductors, and the artists who have made this year a treasure. 💃🏽 This community makes every year rich with vibrancy 💗 … to many more! 🥳

(1/3) Another year around the Sun for me today 🎉 🎂 , this year has been full of gifts, musical and personal, the greatest being Penny’s debut into our lives.

(1/2) It was my honor this past week to make my conducting debut with the brilliant musicians of the @AtlantaSymphony 🍑🧡 Standing in front of these artists, leading the works of my favorite composers, it is a dream come to life… 😇

I have loved my week as the Mami In Chief of @nwsymphony! 💗🌴😂 Come see us tomorrow, link in bio 🔗💅🏻
