From a scouting perspective, Jon Jansen was a tough, technically sound and highly dependable right tackle at @UMichFootball He started all 50 games of his college career, was a two-time captain, earned First-Team AFCA All-America honors and Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1998, and helped Michigan win the 1997 national championship Jansen’s game was built on size, leverage, strong hands, balance, awareness and consistency. In the run game, he created movement at the point of attack and stayed connected through contact. In pass protection, he relied more on positioning, controlled footwork and technique than rare athleticism. His football IQ and ability to process defensive movement were also major strengths Pre Draft Measurements & Times: Height: 6’6⅜” Weight: 305 lbs Arms: 32⅞” Hands: 10¼” 40: 5.30 10-Yard Split: 1.82 Bench: 22 reps Vertical: 27” Broad: 8’4” Short Shuttle: 4.61 The @Commanders selected Jansen 37th overall in the 1999 NFL Draft, and his college traits translated well. He started all 16 games as a rookie and became a long-term NFL starter, finishing with 137 games and 125 starts Jansen is a strong example of an offensive lineman whose NFL success came from technique, toughness, intelligence, leadership and consistent execution more than elite testing numbers

Congratulations to Aaron Brewer on being named a team captain for the Miami Dolphins for the 2026 season! Brewer is coming off an outstanding 2025 season in which he established himself as one of the NFL’s top centers. He earned Second-Team AP All-Pro honors, was named a finalist for the inaugural NFL Protector of the Year Award, and allowed just ONE sack all season, tied for the fewest among starting NFL centers His impact was just as important in the run game, helping anchor a Miami offensive line that paved the way for 4.7 yards per carry, fourth-best in the NFL Brewer was also voted a Dolphins captain for the first time in 2025, making his selection again in 2026 another strong reflection of the respect, consistency, toughness and leadership he brings to the organization Congratulations, Aaron! Well deserved. 👏💪
