In Teddy Roosevelt day an immigrant had to be sponsored by an American family that was responsible for them, had to ensure they had a job and a place to stay. The immigrants had to learn English and live under one flag, the American flag. Big difference from today.

The 77-year-old Indigenous actor kept forgetting his lines. The director stopped the filming and said something that would change the performance completely: “Tell it your way.” It was 1976, and they were filming *The Outlaw Josey Wales*. Chief Dan George was struggling. At 77, memorizing long sections of scripted dialogue was no easy task. Clint Eastwood noticed. Rather than demanding he repeat the lines exactly, Eastwood stepped back. “Forget the exact words,” he told George. “Tell the story the way you would tell it.” Chief Dan George was born Geswanouth Slahoot in 1899 on the Burrard Reserve near North Vancouver. For most of his life acting was never part of his plans. He worked as a longshoreman, raised a family, and in 1951 became chief of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation. He did not begin acting until he was in his sixties. His breakthrough came in 1970 with *Little Big Man*, opposite Dustin Hoffman. The performance earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor, making him the first Indigenous performer ever nominated for the award. In *The Outlaw Josey Wales* he played Lone Watie, a Cherokee survivor who develops an unlikely friendship with Eastwood’s outlaw. When Eastwood gave him space, George delivered the dialogue in his own natural rhythm. His pauses became longer. His humor came quietly. The scenes still remembered feel less like lines written by a screenwriter and more like stories told by a man who had earned the right to tell them. The film became one of the most respected Westerns ever made. Chief Dan George’s performance remains one of its greatest strengths. He saw acting as a responsibility—to show Indigenous people as complete human beings, funny, thoughtful, and contemporary. *The Outlaw Josey Wales* was one of his final major film roles. Chief Dan George died in 1981 at the age of 82. When Clint Eastwood told him, “Tell it your way,” he was recognizing that some voices carry histories far deeper than any written dialogue. Nearly fifty years later, those scenes still resonate because what you are watching does not feel like an actor pretending. It feels like an elder telling a story that matters.

When a hydrogen atom absorbs ultraviolet light, its electron enters an excited quantum state. The electron cloud can shift and oscillate, and when the atom returns to a lower energy state, it releases a photon with a wavelength of 121.6 nanometers. That light can contain around four million wave cycles across a wave train 48 centimeters long. The atom is microscopic, but the wave associated with its emitted photon can stretch far beyond it.

LFG! ONE ITALIAN MAN WITH A BATON JUST DID WHAT MILAN'S LEADERS WOULDN'T. Looters hit the Under Armour store in downtown Milan, and he didn't wait for anyone to save it. He grabbed a baton and started taking them on single-handed. That's what happens when a government won't protect its own people. Regular citizens finally get fed up and step in. Milan has been under siege for days. Stores have been smashed and police cars attacked, and the people running the city keep wringing their hands. Italians are done waiting. Good for him. Europe's leaders should be ashamed it came to this.

We can’t let this happen in America & I won’t let it happen in Ohio. The stakes are clear.

France's cost-of-living protests take a destructive turn as rioters torch a historic town hall, leaving much of the 143-year-old landmark in ruins. In Limoges, flames engulf the building before its roof collapses. The local prefect calls the attack deliberate, while France's interior minister blames radical far-left groups for violence breaking out during demonstrations nationwide. President Emmanuel Macron is condemning the destruction and warning that those responsible for attacking public buildings and businesses will face prosecution. The unrest is spreading well beyond one city. See where masked groups are attempting to storm government buildings: foxnews.com/world/limoges-to…

Socialist decline leads to this. There’s a better way & it’s on the ballot in Ohio.
A French woman who supported France’s left wing government and the protests asks why left wing protesters are looting her store. It’s a perfect distillation of left wing decisions, this is where it all leads.

A plane carrying a mother, father, and their two teenage daughters crashed into a tree in a Florida neighborhood and caught fire. As smoke poured from the wreckage, four neighbors rushed toward the burning aircraft armed with an axe, a hammer, and a fire extinguisher. But to save the family inside, they would have to fight their way into a burning aircraft before the flames spread. It happened in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The family was approaching a nearby airport when their plane crashed into a tree outside someone’s home. Hearing the impact, four neighbors rushed outside to find smoke rising from the wreckage and the family trapped inside. Without hesitation, they grabbed tools and began smashing through the damaged cockpit, managing to pull the father and his two teenage daughters to safety, but the mother was still trapped inside. With flames spreading quickly, some fought the fire using a garden hose and extinguisher while the others desperately worked to break through the twisted metal and reach her. Finally, they pulled her free, saving all four family members. Without these neighbors risking their own lives, this could have ended in tragedy. Instead, an entire family is alive because four ordinary people refused to stand by. Let’s give these everyday heroes the recognition they deserve.

Thomas Sowell wrote this in 2015. His warning is as relevant as ever. The situation will only get much worse if people continue to stand idly by.

Louvre is being surrounded by "student protesters". If Macron does not defend the Louvre from harm with armed personnel, he has no right to be France's president and should be deposed in my opinion! Anyone agree? a. Yes b. No
The “students” are now encircling the Louvre museum. Say goodbye to the Mona Lisa and other precious artwork. All will be burned to the ground.

"Queers for Palestine" must be the most idiotic movement to have ever existed. Literally every single one of them would be killed in Gaza. How stupid can these people be?
