In 2018 my wife and I made a big bet on a young team of entrepreneurs in Ottawa.
Arlo has now been open for 2 years, served 30k guests, and supported small natural wine producers from around the world.
This team is the best! Come visit us?❤️ instagram.com/arlo.somerset

Downtown #Ottawa has faced many challenges over the last 2 years. That’s why we need to bring a diverse set of voices together to develop ideas for downtown’s revitalization.
As MP for #OttawaCentre I’ve launched a Task Force to do just that.

Companies spend way too much time planning.
Hoping that a buttoned up detailed plan will help them ship more. They hire professional planners vs builders. More planning happens.
My suggestion… focus on consistent progress by building vs trying too hard to guess the future.

Friends, it's been a difficult 24 hours. Staff harassed for meals. A service user and security guard assaulted. Through it all, you have donated and filled our hearts with gratitude. Every cent will support people experiencing homelessness. Thank you. See our statement ⬇️
