Governance update: HSP-027 has officially passed voting! 🗳️
The legacy 30% developer gas rebate is transitioning to 0%, meaning 100% of transaction execution fees will route directly to NEAR’s native protocol fee processing once the update is deployed.
This change simplifies the fee structure, and features zero breaking changes for active builders or dApp users. Deployment is targeted for Protocol Update v2.14, expected in August 2026, subject to testnet validation and governance conditions.
