🇸🇪 DAY 195 | STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN 🚴‍♂️🇺🇦🇺🇸 This is not how I imagined arriving in Stockholm. 🥹💔 After cycling across countries, overcoming countless challenges, and dreaming of finally reaching Sweden’s capital, I never expected my arrival to turn into one of the most difficult days of my journey. Not because of the distance. Not because of the cycling. But because today, almost everything that could go wrong did go wrong. My day started in Uppsala. While trying to avoid a puddle, I fell off my bicycle and injured my leg. My clothes were soaking wet, and I was cold. I decided to take a train to Stockholm after cycling more than half the distance. I went to the station, changed out of my wet clothes, booked a ticket, and somehow managed to miss the train while I was still inside the station. Can you believe that? 😭 But the worst part came later. While changing, I apparently left behind my Garmin Fenix 8 watch, worth $1,200. I only realized it was missing much later. I’ve contacted the station and am waiting for a response, but I’m afraid I may never see it again. 💔 And the drama didn’t stop there. When I finally reached Stockholm, my planned accommodation unexpectedly fell through. I was injured, exhausted, freezing in the bitter Scandinavian wind, and suddenly had nowhere to stay. Thanks to the generosity of someone who helped me earlier today, I was able to find accommodation. I finally visited a pharmacy, bought supplies to treat my wound, and now I’m somewhere warm, resting and recovering. Today tested me physically, emotionally, and financially. But I’m still here. And I’m not giving up. 💪 And there’s something else I want to share. Lately, I’ve been facing a wave of online attacks, especially on TikTok. Pro-russian trolls have been targeting my posts, leaving hateful comments, and even attempting to organize mass reports against my recent video from Uppsala. Fortunately, their attempt failed. They’ve also been relentlessly attacking my photo from Riga, Latvia. Almost every day, I find myself removing their nasty comments. But you know what? Their anger tells me something important: my message is reaching them. If a simple photograph of me standing proudly with the Ukrainian and UNITED24 flags bothers them so much, then I must be doing something right. 🇺🇦💙💛 They can leave hateful comments. They can try to report my posts. They can try to intimidate me. But they cannot silence my voice, stop my bicycle, or change what I stand for. 🕊️ Every hateful comment only reminds me why this journey matters. My journey continues with one mission: 🕊️ Cycling the world for peace in Ukraine and around the world. As an official UNITED24 Partner, I’m raising funds for ambulances in Ukraine. 🚑💙💛 Have you had a chance to support my UNITED24 ambulance fundraiser? Even the smallest donation can help bring lifesaving emergency care to people who desperately need it. Every contribution matters. 🚑 UNITED24 donation link is in my pinned post. And if you’d like to help me continue my bicycle journey through Scandinavia, my Buy Me a Coffee link is in my bio. ☕❤️ Thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, or simply followed my journey. Days like today remind me how much kindness matters. Tomorrow is another day. The journey continues. 🌍🚴‍♂️ Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦💙💛 #united24 #ukraine #sweden #Stockholm #SlavaUkraini
