I'm hearing impaired so I usually use subtitles when watching films and the fact that they often just omit swear words is maddeningly infantilizing.
Streaming services are one of the worst things to happen to movies and tv. At least with cable, ads didn't just happen in the middle of a character's dialogue and they didn't play the same 2 ads over and over. Also they didn't consistently cancel shows after 2 seasons.
There are a lot of great found footage films ("As Above, So Below," "Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum," "V/H/S," and "V/H/S/2" for example) but I absolutely hate the shaky cam aspect of these movies. I get why they do it, but I usually have to take Dramamine to even get through them😕

Ppl can be so rude for no reason & I will never understand it. A coworker asked a customer (who was on the phone) "Do you need some help?" & she snaps, "You think I'm standing here for my health?!" like... Is that necessary? What do you gain from that? Jfc I hate people sometimes
Not only that, but a lot of us were actively discouraged from going to trade schools or even community colleges! I know I was! And the idea of taking a gap year after high school was blasphemous. The only path to success was going to a 4-year university.
