We're pretty proud around here! Our Mochii won a @MicroscopyToday Innovation Award in 2018, and today Voxa Blade earned an Innovation Award for 2023!
Only one more day at #mm2023 to come visit us in the exhibit hall. Let's brainstorm how we can support your science! #MSA

I was fortunate enough to get a private screening of the film, Killers of the Flower Moon earlier this month. Having been marginally released from my NDA with the premiere of the film today at Cannes, I have a few thoughts.

Long shot, but does anyone know a bookstore that could get us 100+ copies of @LucasLearn ‘s Teaching Creative Thinking by mid June? We want it for our summer staff read, but neither local (Seattle) bookstores nor Amazon can get them to us. #creativityExchange @CrownHousePub

This week, the 4th graders have been learning to harness the power of wind. Coming up next in their investigations: How that energy gets converted to electricity! 6th graders have been applying their soldering skills to constructing parallax-demonstrating constellation models.
Ack sorry... gotta run. The 16-yr-old wants to go over her philosophy/astronomy/ancient history research paper with me. How is it that teenagers have greater parenting needs than preschoolers?? Also, I have expertise in zero of those topics. 🤪 #dtk12chat
OMG it's been so long since I've twitter-chatted, I'm not sure I remember how to do it...
My mantra in our makerspace is "Every challenge should be a *little bit hard.*" If they can meet a challenge on the first try, I made a mistake!

Head’s up, #dtk12chat! We’re going to ask you to share a quote, lyric, phrase, or motto that inspires or motivates you a bit later. So start thinking about that!
If you or someone you love enjoys #OwlHouse, this sweet fanzine is going to be great! I happen to know that the gold-foil washi tape is going to be *adorable* so I’m definitely hoping for that stretch-goal.

Now that my kids are teens, I would like *little buddy mode* for myself… they’re willing to play video games with me, but I can’t keep up! 😜🥰

This. Is. AMAZING! We're just now using the AR feature for the first time for an actual whole-class project (world language, designing then giving a tour of a "dream house"). Now I have another new feature to play with!
📣 New Tinkercad Sim Lab! 📣
We are happy to announce a new feature within the 3D editor: Sim Lab!
With Sim Lab, you can have your 3D designs be affected by forces like gravity and collisions. Try it out!

Have we mentioned how much we love the laser cutter? 1st graders built musical instruments that allow them to change pitch and volume. The precut shapes and brackets gave them flexibility in their individual designs while offering scaffolding to build strong, stable instruments.
