I’ve done a #VEDay video for schools. About the day. A short reading. And some thoughts on war.

My #WorldBookDay book is out today. This is a very exciting moment for me, 17 years into my life as a children's author. Thanks to @DLuxAssociates and @royoftherovers for making this happen. I've done 9 videos on the process of how I wrote it.

Anyone for a book?!

A week today I'll be doing this in Manchester/Salford. It's free. I'll have bookmarks and posters to giveaway. And lots of time to chat.

I'm signing copies of my children's historical fiction books at Imperial War Museum North next weekend. Please come along if you're in the area. I'm there for four hours, so there'll be plenty of time for a chat.

It's release day Aug 1 for Carly & mine's Two Little Dicky Birds picture book (@AndersenPress), so we've been doing events around Manchester. And what a fab time we had at @Lindley_Books! Thank you for having us. The kids were a delight! And Lord Wormington was a proper charmer!
