Thread: How @thejen2615 & I gamified our wedding reception leading to a big surprise for our guests.
For reference, @thejen2615 & I got married last Saturday. It was an amazing day with so many of our friends and family coming out to Granbury, Texas for the festivities.
Like millions of others, I mourn for America today. To see the country embrace ignorance & fascism is heartbreaking. The destruction of decency & compassion is a sickness “X” helped spread. I can’t stay here. Find me on Bluesky or through my website: lincolnconspirators.com.

The recent renovation of Edwin Booth’s room at the Players club revealed the contents of a cabinet that had been locked for nearly 100 years: a death mask of Booth, cast in plaster from the day he passed.

🧵 My Trekkie heart is so full right now. I’ve never been to a Star Trek convention before so being able to meet so many of my favorite actors in person was a dream.
We got pictures with all the Voyager actors and some of the TNG folks. We also splurged on the newest crew from Strange New Worlds. I only wish we had more time (and money) to get everyone else who was there.
I’m very grateful to @robertbeltran74 who was so nice to Noah, our youngest. He’s a new Trekkie, courtesy of #StarTrekProdigy, but he was still unsure about all this fandom & cosplaying stuff. Captain Chakotay was just so wonderful with his number one, the late Commander Adreek.
Q was a bit perplexed at being surrounded by two Jedi and two Terrans, but, as a mischief maker himself, he was good with the dark side in all forms. John de Lancie was kind enough to sign our ornament, too!
Day two of @SpaceconSATX and we’re again repping #StarTrekProdigy with Terran Janeway and Terran Gillian the Whale. @BonnieBellG @TrekProdigyRoom #AllHailTheTerranEmpire #EvenTheWhalesAreEvil
Wesley Crusher, stranded Chakotay, the real Captain Chakotay, Commander Adreek, and Admiral Janeway are representing Star Trek: Prodigy at @SpaceconSATX. Wish you were here, @teejaye84! @TrekProdigyRoom @GoodAaron.
“Back There” is one of my favorite episodes of The Twilight Zone. Inspired by @TwilightZoneNet & @RodSerlingFndtn, I did a deep dive into Rod Serling’s exciting tale of time travel and the assassination of Abraham Lincoln: lincolnconspirators.com/2024…

Couldn't make the first night of our Victorian Halloween? Here is a glimpse of what you missed. Oh, and you can come visit this Saturday 10/26 and see the rest!
On this, the first day of early voting in Texas, my soundtrack is the WWII patriotic ballad “We Did It Before (And We Can Do it Again).” I have faith that Americans will vote to preserve our democracy by once again rejecting Trump & his ilk. #VoteBlue 🇺🇸 youtu.be/c6-u47Lz380?si=8ePq…
RIP to Twilight Zone player John Lasell who passed away on Oct 4 at the age of 95. He played John Wilkes Booth in the TZ episode Back There. A few years ago I wrote to Mr. Lasell and he was kind enough to autograph a handkerchief for me. @TwilightZoneNet

Happy 100th Birthday to President Jimmy Carter! I wrote a blog post honoring this man and relating a couple connections he has to the Lincoln assassination story:

.@RRAuction will soon offer a Ford’s Theatre playbill from the April 14, 1865 performance of Our American Cousin. Last year, I conducted an investigation into this rare relic from the night of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.
