So unless something drastic changes here in terms of leadership, this will be my final post on twitter. I never intended on joining Stormfront and this is what this place has now become. Goodbye friends, much love to you all. Stay Beautiful.
It's been great to see the community we once had here rebuilding on Bluesky. Join us and help bury this hellsite for good. P.S. The 'starter pack' system there makes it so easy to follow your interests and grow your network quickly. You can find me here > bsky.app/profile/liamhogan.b…

In our view @X doesn’t comply with the DSA in key transparency areas. It misleads users, fails to provide adequate ad repository and blocks access to data for researchers. It’s the first time we issue preliminary findings under the Digital Services Act. 👇 europa.eu/!CGPVCV
The latest far-right conspiracy theorist to push the “Irish slaves” line is the Musk-promoted racist and anti-semitic extremist E. Michael Jones. Jones has previously described the Civil Rights Movement to end racial segregation as a “Jewish war on the South.”
“Disinformation actors [on twitter] were found to have significantly more followers than their non-disinformation counterparts and tend to have joined the platform more recently than non-disinformation users”.
We’ve all seen this happen in real time. theguardian.com/technology/2…
Elon Musk's X 'deceives' users with blue checks, says EU.
The wheels of EU social media regulation move very, very slowly…

I was at #TheSugarWife today in the @AbbeyTheatre and I think it’s one of the most important pieces of drama ever staged in Ireland. Stellar cast, incredible direction & *so* much depth to the writing (legacies of the slave trade, capitalism, class & race, to list but a few)
Audiences have been left spellbound by #TheSugarWife 🍰
If you've seen #TheSugarWife, let us know what you thought - and if you haven't, what are you waiting for? Book tickets now at the link below🎟️

Peterson is pushing far-right talking points once again. It’s been a long term goal of the extreme right to detoxify fascism and ultranationalism by distancing it from its *zenith*. So they try to sow doubt & claim that the Nazis were either socialists or misguided nationalists.
Old thread on Peterson’s inane but sinister ramblings if anyone is interested.
Peterson: “Speak the truth and see what happens.”
Me: Peterson is trying to smear anti-fascism by promoting a sock puppet account as being authentic, when in fact it was solely set up to smear anti-fascism.
Reason? Confirmation bias, ideological alignment = no source analysis. xitter.cf/jordanbpeterson/status…
Racial Slavery Denialism in 2024: Elon Musk’s “we were all slaves” reactionary position which does not argue that the transatlantic slave trade did not happen, but instead infers that it does not matter and that it has no legacy to understand, accept or reckon with.
I’ve a thread on that abuse of history here.
I’ve broken my own promise here so I’m going to log off now and I’ll hopefully see you again soon.
Replying to @Limerick1914
Musk is instrumentalising this platform to feed reactionary politics and its concomitant disinformation networks. Staying here feels like giving tacit consent to that destructive project. Slán.
