🚨STARKNET OPENS VOTE ON BECOMING AN INDEPENDENT L1!
ethereum:0xca14007eff0db1f8135f4c25b34de49ab0d42766 stakers and delegators can now participate in the first non-binding governance vote on whether Starknet should transition from an Ethereum L2 to its own Layer 1.
The move is framed around gaining full control over post-quantum security upgrades.
The vote is open now.

@Starknet has today gone live with a non-binding poll, seeking feedback from $STRK holders on the future of the network.
The official poll is titled "Should Starknet become an independent post-quantum L1?"
Though lacking in detail, it confirms that $STRK will remain the heart of the platform's ecosystem, with no new token to be issued.

Animation studio BONI IS SCARED talked to us about creating EUTHANAZIES, a dystopian thriller animated series, using Substance 3D Painter, Blender, and Marvelous Designer, and discussed the project idea, tricks for combining 2D and 3D, and custom Geometry Nodes setups for cables and snow.
"The 2D elements were used for a lot more than just adding details on top of the renders. We used hand-drawn textures and normals to help merge the 2D and 3D, as well as smear frames and hand-drawn motion blur. We also wanted to break some of the physical rules of the 3D world. We worked with hand-painted shadows and distorted perspectives, sometimes deforming entire environments to get the composition we wanted."

Hoy se cumple 1 año del golpe más duro que sufrió el ecosistema: la mayor barrida de liquidaciones de la historia.
❌El 10/10/2025 un mercado sobreapalancado en pleno bull market fue borrado en horas.
❌+$19.300 millones en posiciones apalancadas fueron liquidados (récord absoluto)
❌ 1,6 millones de traders liquidados.
❌Dias antes Bitcoin estaba haciendo su ultimo ATH del ciclo para caer a $102k
❌Las altcoins se desplomaron mucho más de $800 mil millones temporalmente.
❌ Hyperliquid y Bybit concentraron la mayor parte de las liquidaciones.
❌ El open interest cayó ~43% en un día.
❌ Depeg temporal de USDe a ~0,65 dólares.
❌El desapalancamiento arrastró al resto de la industria: cientos de proyectos incluido varios exchanges centralizados de larga trayectoria terminaron cerrando en los meses siguientes.
El recordatorio más claro de lo frágil que es un mercado extremadamente apalancado cuando aparece un shock externo.

- Volumen: $157 mil millones (Top 1 lejos)
110 veces más que Variational, 160 veces más que Lighter y 60 veces más que Hyperliquid.
- Open Interest: $10 mil millones
4 veces más que Variational y 10 veces más que Lighter.
- Volumen liquidado: $9.5 mil millones.
Recién salido, solo con BTC y ETH, y en un par de horas superó a toda la industria de DEX de perpetuos que lleva meses y años construyendo capital, usuarios, volumen y open interest.
