Congratulations to all our friends at Bloxwich Hockey club! A fantastic good news story of successful grassroots development. Their charitable work to engage children who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to play is awesome! @bbcmtd @ExpressandStar @ITVCentral

#imaginenotshowingupforyourlife profound words in Christine Mcguiness documentary re impact of living life without knowing that you are autistic. 120,000 people currently on waiting list for assessment. We need to do better at spotting and supporting autistic girls.

Replying to @thecsp
@thecsp have you reflected on the fact that the RCN charge less than half of what you do each month. Has anyone considered the falling numbers of new graduates deciding not to become members. Anecdotally it is Clear many are not signing up. They say it is not affordable.

I believe members would prefer a stripped down body which was affordable to all. The fact that the turn out to vote was so poor in some trusts is something that needs reviewing. Have you contacted local reps to investigate why?

Looking for alternatives to indemnity and professional support as physio. Can no longer justify £420 @thecsp as on two day a week salary. Less than half members in my trust registered vote re industrial so no action being taken. There were previous threads on topic- please help

Is the limitation of physio studies the demographics of subjects - primary English speakers, higher socioeconomic status etc- not representing large sectors of society. Less comorbidities too perhaps? @ChrisLittlew00d interested in your thoughts 💭

So only 53% of physios in England who were entitled to vote on industrial action turned out to vote. Really disappointing. Regardless of view to not even bother to engage is a clear sign of apathy amongst our profession. What can we do to galvanise interest in physio??

I have a unique job which is stimulating and hugely satisfying. The surgeons I work with are very supportive of AHP’s. I urge physios colleagues to collaborate with surgeons because together we get the best results for pts.
